JoJo’s ShakeBAR is a next-generation restaurant and bar, and District Detroit’s next go-to spot for hangouts, first dates, and family affairs. Its’ modern, yet familiar, diner experience is grounded in nostalgia and focuses on creative desserts and elevated diner favorites. This location is steps from Fox Theatre, LCA, Comerica and short walk from Ford Field.

Outdoor Patio Seating is available for reservations and walk-ins. In the case of inclement weather, our team will do our best to accommodate outdoor patio reservations inside, but indoor seating is not guaranteed.

Wanted to try something different since I was right in the area for the Pistons game. Atmosphere had a good vibe, nice crowd, minimum noise level, staff was great and food was pretty good. The only downfall is that there is one bathroom for everyone, so you have to pretty much wait in line to use it. It's not good when you're sitting right near the bathroom, and there's a long line right in front of you while you're trying to eat. Please install another bathroom.

The food is decent, but the service is horrible. We tried it twice hoping it would be better the second time.

Waitress was friendly and attentive, food was good, and for a group of 10 when the restaurant was quite busy the food came out quite quickly. Enjoyable experience.

Service was terrible, waiter did not bring enough silverware, did not bus the table when we finished courses, his pants were sagging so you could see his underwear. Soup and lasagna arrived cold in the middle. Automatic gratuity was added to this check even though the service was poor, management refused to remove the charge. Would never eat here again.

Our waitress was phenomenal! she was very attentive, polite, and had great energy!! 10/10 would recommend her and this restaurant.

This was my second time visiting this location. They were out of half of the shakes on the menu. The items we did chose were way overpriced for the quality. The service was ok. Both times I have visited this location I had waiters who did not seem like they wanted to be there.

Best fish & chips! One person ordered the Reuben and it was a soggy mess of a sandwich and didn’t taste all that good. So she ordered just one piece of the fish and chips and agreed the fish was delish. We didn’t order shakes as they are way too big to order food and then a shake. Wish you could order a small sampler to share at the table without all the hoopla added to the shake.

Truly for the insta influencers and rising influencers. Super cute, however everything else is pretty standard. Food is average, some of our food was cold. Very noisy. Only one bathroom (?!) Weird playlist for a place that supposed to be 80s/90s nostalgia (multiple black eyed peas songs?!). Congratulations to the owners who are making a killing here!

This is an awesome place the kids loved the shakes !!! And the burgers were delicious as well as the appetizers!!! We will definitely be going back !!! Our wait person was awesome

Fun festive place to eat for a special occasion. Pretty pricey fur both a meal and drink, but overall fun. Wish our waiter didn’t smell so much like weed…little bit of a mood killer for a “family” dining experience.
