My wife and I took our friends from California out for a unique dining experience. Having dined at Johnny's previously, we knew they would enjoy it. It was a Sunday evening and they really enjoyed the live music and the extremely cool vibe the place provides. They still can't stop talking about coming back next time they're in town. We all started with some delicious cocktails. A couple Paloma Skinny's along with a Botanical Bliss, and The Final Rose - All had a great presentation and tasted great. For starters/small plates we all shared the Vietnamese Street Ribs (A personal favorite of ours), along with the Gruyere Spread, along with the Michigan Mushroom Arancini (Another personal favorite). Again, these were all fantastic. We also shared our large plates which consisted of the Rosemary Garlic Lamb Chops prepared medium, the stuffed filet prepared medium, along with the Michigan Lamb Ragu. All 3 were prepared perfect and delicious. We were too stuffed for dessert but once again kudo's to the chef, wait staff, and entertainment for a wonderful evening.

This is truly the best restaurant in Royal Oak. Try the lamb pasta and the best crème. Brûlée ever. Great cocktails. Fantastic meatball appetizer. I could go on.

Food and drinks were good. Great place for that special someone. Have your pocket ready because it is upscale in price. Worth the experience.

Johnny’s is the perfect place for a date night or special occasion. Excellent customer service with an experience bar staff. A bourbon collection that would make Pappy proud. Only drawback, it can be noisy at times. The food and desserts are always on point. Plan ahead and make this speakeasy one of your regular stops.

I had an amazing time, was there on a date the appetizer’s were really delicious the food was good. But for 2 entrees 1 app 1 cocktail 1 shot of whiskey woodford reserve and a margarita the price was $174 with tip $203 a little pricey for 2 people. But the service was great and amazing the lighting was great and felt cool walking in. Overall I would go again but on a certain occasion. Service was amazing!

Exquisite food and drinks, and the staff was very friendly. They even split up dishes that we were sharing. Live music to listen to. What more could you ask for?

True speakeasy-need password to get in and everything. Pricey but you pay for the experience. Manager super nice. Fast service.
