To wax poetically, Johnny’s Italian Steakhouse is the perfect place for a romantic dinner with someone you love. Everything from the friendly hostess to our waiter made the experience absolutely wonderful. From the bread to our entrees they were fantastic. Dale our waiter did a wonderful job and provided absolutely stellar service. While Pamela was a gracious host and a joy to talk to throughout our meal. We are both looking forward to coming back very soon!

For a special occasion, we reserved a table at Johnny’s Steakhouse as we enjoy a good steak. We were greeted by Miss Avis who is warm , friendly and attentive. The restaurant is located in the Crown Plaza hotel sectioned in a quaint area with a fine dining atmosphere. Our handsome waiter, Trey, was full of personality and great service. The menu offered a wonderful three course special from which I thoroughly enjoyed capresse salad, delicious salmon and a slice of their homemade pumpkin pie. My husband decided upon the 20oz bone-in ribeye with salad and side. We were amazed at the tenderness and incredible perfection of the ribeye. He even cut it with a fork to prove how truly tender it was. THIS MEAL AND DINING EXPERIENCE IS A DEFINITE 10 and more! Oh, and the French onion soup was amazing as well. The cheese was smoothly atop the toasted bread slice making it a delight to enjoy. Do not let the hotel location discourage any opportunity to delight in this ‘hidden jewel’ of outstanding dining. And, when you do go, ask for Trey. He is fun and very attentive. The top chef dropped by our table for our compliments. He was pleased to know how much we enjoyed his culinary talent. He plans a Thanksgiving buffet that he says will be over-the-top, which is sure to be remarkable!

The service team in the restaurant and bar are superior. This is the second time I stayed here in the last chile of months. The first time, Brenda provided her services for me in the restaurant and the bar. She was great! She remembered me right away on this trip and made me feel right at home. I can’t say enough good things about her. In addition, I merry 2 more employees this trip, Ms Avis, restaurant receptionist and Abril. Abril was bartending. The 3 of them were so kind and fun. They are the reason I will return.

Went to Johnny’s Italian Steakhouse - The Woodlands/Shenandoah for the Date night menu after seeing Parmeet Walias post! It was amazing 👏 Avis was our host, Brenda was our server, and of course Parmeet was the chef. After having our baby last December, this was a much needed night. All three courses were crafted and seasoned so well. I think the only thing I was wanting after the meal was a pillow for a nap and food baby😂. Also if you are deciding between the three desserts.....just get all of them

We didn’t even get to try the food. We had a reservation at 7pm and we got seated immediately with great customer service from the floor manager. The floor manager kept walking by stating that the server would be right with us. She said this 3 times. We waited 15 minutes with no server, no drinks, no appetizers, etc. we decided to leave as this was a special dinner for our anniversary we felt we deserved better service for a special occasion.

My wife and I had never tried Johnny's steakhouse. Overall it was okay, we weren't aware that it is a hotel restaurant. The ambiance was fair, food was average, and the service was good. A decent value for money, but nothing special.

Waitstaff has lots of turnover. Our waiter was two weeks into job. We were excited to try Johnny’s Steakhouse for a long time now as we enjoyed the food at taste of the town. Service very inconsistent but this is due to new waitstaff. Steak filet was ok but cold mashed potatoes. Sirloin ordered medium came out very well done. Had replaced however came out when others were done eating. Chicken was salty salty but pasta was good. Not an overall great experience.

Really great restaurant that we will visit again. This is a relaxed beautiful setting that serves wonderful food. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! This is fine dining but food quality and presentation is very god. Our party had appetizers; burrata and tomatoes, shrimp cocktail. Our meals consisted of Chanel No 5, salmon and vegetables, chicken parmesan and the filet. Desserts were tiramisu and the roasted banana cheesecake.
