The original Johnny's serving fine Northern Italian Cusine. Opening in the 1920’s as Louise’s Garden, a restaurant that would flourish into the most reputable dining establishment in Cleveland. Renamed Johnny’s Bar in 1952, this neighborhood eatery located on Fulton Road serves authentic Italian food in an inviting atmosphere with private dining and patio dining available weather permitting.

The patio was lovely; very clean with beautiful plants. It made for the perfect atmosphere to enjoy a delightful evening. Service was outstanding; never intrusive, but always there to fill a water glass, clear dish and make sure everything was to our satisfaction. The food was magnificent! We ordered a variety of dishes, starting with the duck breast appetizer which was so tasty, and several baskets of freshly baked warm bread. For entrees we enjoyed grouper, short ribs, and the seafood platter; all were perfectly cooked and delicious. Thank you to Johnny’s for making a special evening so memorable!

We really enjoyed our experience there. We all ordered either steak or veal, and it was superb, perfectly done. Two things though; the green beans were too crunchy, and barely cooked. The scalloped potatoes that the server raved about were just ok. There were very little of each on the plate, so they needed to be perfectly cooked and delicious in my opinion. We didn't want to complain, but it didn't really seem acceptable, especially for the price paid. We also had a stuffed pepper veal appetizer, and the peppers were also too crunchy. Service was spectacular.

One of the best meals we have had in years. We were entertaining family from California, and they were very impressed. Beautiful patio providing a very relaxing, quiet experience. We'll definitely go back soon!

Celebrated our adult son’s birthday with our daughter-in-law and 8 yr old grandson Had the same great server as last Saturday night-thank you Food always delicious! Love Johnny’s! It’s been a special place for dinner for us for years!

Johnny's Bar on Fulton is ALWAYS fabulous! We had delicious house salads w/crumbled blue cheese and a Caesar salad.....the GREAT long bone veal chop w/sundried tomatoes and the potato crusted Grouper....also a side of rigatoni w/Johnny's marinara...ALL spectacular. Sat outside in their patio and it was a wonderful evening...HIGHLY recommend!

Couldn’t love this restaurant more!! Everything is always so elegant but not in anyway other than locale hideaway sort. Better have a reservation and a hearty appetite because you will want 3 corses. I had the salmon to my delight.
