One of the worst meals we’ve ever had. Definitely not upscale at all. We went there for thanksgiving and they where serving a prefix menu. This should have been an easier than a normal service because of the limited menu. It started when I ordered a dirty martini that was not dirty. She told me to try it to make sure so I took a sip told her it was definitely not dirty. She brought me olive juice to the table to mix it myself. We should have left right then. Cocktail sauce had no horseradish in it, it was ketchup with hot sauce added. French onion soup was burnt. Caesar salad was made hours before and was wilted and poorly dressed. The turkey wasn’t even real turkey, it was a processed turkey roll. Super salty and inedible. Deserts were poor quality bulk made box desserts. Service was just as bad as the food. It was slow and our server kept disappearing. She took away our utensils after soup and salad and did not replace them so when our entrees arrived we could not eat. She never came back with utensils and I had to get another server to help us (even though I had tried numerous times to get the attention or server). Way over priced for the food and service you get. They said they have been open for 6 months. Honestly I don’t think they will survive another 6 months.

Food was great, service was terrific, hospitality outstanding, however the ambiance wasn’t top notch. No piano player as expected . Hopefully when we return it will be up to par.

Although the restaurant was not that busy, service was very slow. My chicken piccata was delicious, but my partner’s beef dip was burned and very crusty. We enjoyed listening to the piano player. The restaurant temperature was also very cool.

Great food! One of the best, if not the best, Caesar salad 🥗 ever. Steak 🥩 prepared perfectly, and accompanied by delicious mashed potatoes 🥔, and broccolini. And, the demi glaze sauce on the side was excellent. My wife’s Faroe Islands salmon was reportedly outstanding too. Good wine list and great cocktails 🍸. Elena, our server/bartender not only served us well, but also had great recommendations on both, food and cocktails. She won’t steer you wrong. We’ll definitely be back. Oh! The live piano 🎹 music is also just perfect. I can’t remember his name, but the piano player and singer is really good. A very nice addition to the whole atmosphere.

Remember enjoying this as EBGreens and later as Mortons and thrilled to see it back open. We'll definitely return for cocktails, appetizers and dinner. We had reservations but decided to eat at the bar. Great bartenders, food and service. A great addition to downtown drink and dining options !! And they kept the piano music tradition!

Wife ordered the 8oz filet, they asked if they could butterfly the steak which she agreed. It came to the table looking like shoe leather. Dry aged ribeye was decent but not for 86$. Overall the price did not reflect the quality.

First time at Johnny D's and had a wonderful experience. Service was great and food was very good. Looking forward to our next visit.

Food was quite good. Lobster biscuit a nice chunk of lobster in it, but the broth was a little blah. Two people had prime rib and that really didn’t seem like it was prime, a little chewy. Farroe Island salmon special was great. We will be back.
