I took my partner to Joey D's for his birthday and I must admit the service was lacking. Which is a shame, we have never had any problems in the past with service but our waiter was off. Never gave us his name, just middle of the road waiter. Did the bare minimum and when it came time for a dessert, as I mentioned we were celebrating a b'day. He didn't offer to make my guy feel special. No to-go item, just the bill.

Joey D’s service and food are consistently excellent. We’ve been dining there for years and have never been disappointed. One of our favorite restaurants anywhere.

I decided to try the restaurant out because I wanted a smoked old-fashioned. I was a little disappointed because the drink was not actually smoked. However, they used a smoked ice cube. The ice didn’t make the drink taste smoked at all. The table I was seated at had very dim lighting. So dim that I couldn’t read the menu and had to use the candle on the table to read the menu. Other than that, the restaurant seems to be a great place to visit again.

Great way to spend my birthday w/friends. We arrived early -had reservations - and was sat straight away. Waiter (Matt D) was friendly and attentive. Food was delicious and complimentary Ice cream sundae was yummmmm.
