Food was good. Service was good. I prefer rectangular tables where we can sit opposite each other. Sometimes it was hard to hear across the table. Way too dark inside. When almost everyone- in the whole restaurant, not just our table- has to get out the flashlight on their phone in order to read the menu, that was a bit much,

Had a great birthday dinner. The steak and sushi were delicious and the individual apple pie with maple ice cream is always the best dessert. We had great service by Brittany. It has been a while since I have been to Joeys but looking forward to returning again soon.

I invited my son and his wife and two children for dinner. We were greeted at the door by a lovely receptionist who quickly confirmed our reservation and offered us a glass of sparkling wine. What an exceptional greeting! Already we were comfortable and ready for that great meal that followed. My salmon was cooked to perfection and the dessert that followed was equally delicious. It is my pleasure to recommend this excellent establishment to anyone.

They always greet and acknowledge you as soon as you enter the restaurant. We received a glass of bubbly wine complementary as we waited for our table. Our waitress was new and the manager shadowed her to ensure we were treated well. If the manager had not told us and ask us how she was doing we would never had known it was her first day. We were celebrating a birthday and they gave a complementary dessert to the birthday girl which was enough to share. Food was excellent! Each time we have been to the restaurant we were not disappointed. Thank you for making our evening special.

honestly i was so disappointed by my experience here. it was my 19th birthday and i booked a reservation for 7 and wasn’t sat at my table until 7:40 due to overflow, and got absolutely no compensation or apology for this inconvenience. i go to joeys burrard and burnaby all the time and have never had this happen before so it was extremely disappointing that this happened on my birthday. My dad called ahead and specifically requested that we get a nice table with a booth, to which he was assured they would save one for us, but after waiting 40 extra minutes we were sat at a low table right by the door, when it was freezing outside. The bar was extremely backed up, we ordered drinks before our food got to the table and we didn’t get them till we had completely finished our meals. Honestly just a really bad experience and i don’t plan on coming back to this location. worst restaurant birthday experience ever

Usually I have an amazing experiences at Joey's coquitlam but last night was the opposite. We were seated in the back room with large parties. It was so loud. So hard to hear my friends talk. Service was awful. We wouldn't see our server for very long periods and when she did come she would interrupt us talking. She was not friendly or kind. No offer for refills on water or other drinks. The waitress who brought our food was lovely. The food was cold. Took a very long time to get our bills. It was my besties birthday. I told our server and I wrote on reservation. Not even a mention of this. Very disappointed 😞

This is our second time here at this location. Both times overall experience was good except it is too dark even with the candles. We had to use the flashlight on our phones to see the menu. Other than that, overall service was really good. Our server was very attentive and everyone else that assisted our table.

Food was delicious. Waitresses were super nice. We went around 8:00PM on Sunday so it was pretty quiet compared to usual. Great experience.

Our server didnt pay attention to us nor give us adequate service. Our mains came and mine came out wrong Manager ensured it quickly got fixed she was the only good part of this experience. The booth we had was dark had to use flash lights on phone not a good feeling.
