Service was excellent, which led to great night. Food and drinks tasty. Appreciated substitutions to meet my dietary wishes.

Me and my fiancée love eating out at happy hours around Bellevue, and tonight we fell in love with Joeys. Normally I would say my favorite in the area has been Earls, however tonight we’ve changed our opinion! The steak frites and mashed potatoe rolls were amazing. The service and complimentary wine was absolutely fabulous. We will definitely be back soon!

Overall, a good place to put in the mix with Central Bar, Earl's, and other options in downtown Bellevue. No complaints with any of our drinks and the steak and sushi were both great. The prices of the entrees are pretty reasonable for steak or steak and sushi, but the drinks are definitely on the higher end >$20. The dessert was good, but the creme brulee cheesecake wasn't quite as good as we hoped.

The ambience was very nice. I was there with two girlfriends of mine just to have a casual dinner. My one friend is vegan so she choose to have the farmer’s market salad. I had the same and I am not vegan. She clearly stated to the waitress that she wanted the salad total vegan and that was ok. We get the salad and it has shaved Parmesan cheese atop of it so they took it back to get her another. After 15 mins they came back with the salad but underneath the ruffage there was peppered turkey. I called the waitress back and she stated that there was supposed to be no turkey on it at all. So again the salad was taken back. After 20 mins I flagged down the hostess to say we have been waiting for a salad for 20 mins and we will just take the house salad so she went to check on what the issue. After 10 more mins the manager came out with the farmer’s market salad and many apologies. The waitress came a bit later with many apologies as well. Lastly, I had checked celebration on our reservation because it had been a while since we were able to see and spend time with each other so we were celebrating. We were told by the manager there was a brownie we would receive and maybe 20 mins later the waitress came back and’s with a snarky tone said “ we were gonna give you the brownie but they are not vegan” and at that point I replied just give us the bill please. Mind you myself and my other friend are not vegan. Anyway the bill came was paid and we were not charged for my friend’s salad . The food was pretty good but the service was subpar. We will not be returning and that’s a shame because I had thought to bring my husband there but not after this experience.
