Great little place. The service and food were both excellent. Will definitely be back. Note: Make sure to call and confirm your reservation on busy days like Fri and Sat.

Reservation was not honored. (first time ever on open table). Got to restaurant at the scheduled time. Waited 10 minutes at host area with no host or waiters in dining area. When someone finally got there we were told we had no reservation. I explained that we had made the reservation with open table that afternoon. The host looked in his book and said, your name isn't here. Book was handwritten. Clearly no system for updating or consulting open table reservations because he didn't even check elsewhere, just said "you're not in here" a second time after I tried to explain we might not be in there because we made reservation online, possibly after the book was written. No offer to seat us anyway. Restaurant was empty except for one table that was finishing up. From what I could see their book had only 4-5 names in it in the section he was looking at. Regardless, no effort was made to rectify situation, they were fine with us just leaving. If they don't honor open table reservations or don't have a system to incorporate them they shouldn't be on here. All of above would have been overlooked if they made some effort to still serve us, but given they did not a 1 star rating is deserved.

Hi Kristina- I'm very sorry to be reading about your experience at Joe's, as this is also a first for us where an OpenTable reservation wasn't honored. I did look back into our reservation book and I do see your name there, and it marked that you arrived. Not sure what happened but I hope you understand this was an honest mishap and truly apologize you weren't taken care of. We came here by accident (looking for a similar named restaurant in the same area) but the staff was very nice and the food was good, so it was a happy accident!

I’ve done take out and delivery. This is the first time eating at the restaurant. Great food. Great value for your money. And great local business. Love this place and will be back...often!

A true neighborhood gem! All these years I thought the restaurant was the pizzeria part of the building and then discovered they have a cozy restaurant next door that feels like an Italian village with great food and atmosphere!
