    On line, I reserved a table for 4 on the patio. Upon arrival I was advised that reservations were not accepted for the patio. We were seated next to the kitchen which was very noisy and smokey. Eventually, we were moved to the window. This was a special occasion and I was very disappointed and embarrassed that the afternoon was not as planned. Why is there a space, when you register on line, for patio reservations? I'm sure my guests will never return to your restaurant.

    We frequent the Almonte location around 6 times a year. The last few reservations we've made for a special occasion (well in advance), with a group of 5 or more and requesting a table in the bar side dining room, we've been seated right at the front doorway, sandwiched by the pizza oven. Upon again requesting a table bar-side, we're told that there is no availability. However multiple trips to facilities showed enough seating to accommodate our group. Service is also lacking. Quick to take orders, but you'll wait forever for another drink, or the bill or the machine. It's a shame, we enjoy the food, but the ambiance and service will make us reconsider selecting Joe's in the future. I recommend that when a guest indicates they're celebrating a special occasion, give them a nicer ambiance than kitchen seating, especially considering the price point of your restaurant.

    The most stunning and amazing experience when you dive in the patio. I would label this the best restaurant in the overall around including greater Ottawa. Diners with hearing impairment without device would find the patio difficult to hear and communicate. Indoors is also exceptional with its cozy surroundings a lot of stone and wood and even the rest rooms area 5 star. The service is impeccable and kindly.

    It is not bad. For a single visit or casual dining, this is suitable. Food is of normal and acceptable quality.

    Joe’s Italian Kitchen is a place you must dine at when visiting Almonte. The location is in an old mill and is beautifully decorated. Inside the restaurant you can hear and see the nearby water fall. The food is outstanding! You must have their pinsa, the crust is amazing, not like any other pizza you have had. The portions are really generous and great value for the price. The staff are fantastic, friendly and knowledgeable about the food they serve. I look forward to the next visit when I get to Almonte again.
