    Joe's Italian Kitchen in Almonte is our go-to-eatery when visiting the town. Food is ALWAYS great, service is good and the aromas of their delectable pizzas in that wood burning oven can be detected out on the street. If you're looking for anything Italian, visiting Joe's Italian Kitchen is a must!

    Went for lunch. Very great service. I ordered the lunch special, half pizza (4 small pieces) with side green salad. Pizza tasted good, half green salad was very very, did I say “very” small, and had way too much dressing. I was expecting a nice green salad with vegetables, but got a tiny smushed salad with way too much Caesar salad dressing… For 18$ (plus taxes and tip) I was expecting a bit more. A bit disappointed.

    The food was excellent although portion size was large, but all restaurants err on the large portion size, it seems. Love the ambience even if we didnt manage a table outside. The server was very personable and friendly. The noise was a little loud, but I doubt you can do much about that. Thanks, all good.

    This was our 7 th visit to Joe's Italian Kitchen. The other 6 were 5 stars in all categories. That was the reason I recommend this restaurant to everyone and invited the group to this lunch. On this visit we waited over an hour for our lunch after we ordered it and the lunch was cold. The pasta was supposed to have wood cooked chicken. One plate did have some chicken on it, and the other had about 3 small pieces mixed in. The pasta was barely above room temperature. The small Caesar salad we ordered was much smaller than our previous experience and the one included with the lunch pinsa was very tiny. The server did not ask if we wanted dessert or coffee after lunch. He instead came with the bills. On previous visits there has been olive oil on the table and the server explained what a pinsa was. there was also no longer any information offered or available. A very disappointing lunch. I would appreciate knowing if this is what I can expect going forward so I can decide if I want to come again.

    Everything was excellent. The only "problem" we had was the single choice of the pasta dish. We didn't like the choice offered and switched to pizza. Everything else about the eveing was great. Thanks.
