Joe’s Crab Shack offers a variety of favorites from all parts of the sea and shore. From its extensive menu, guests can choose from buckets of seasonal seafood, fried shrimp platters and fish dishes, as well as options from the “mainland” that include steak, sandwiches, and chicken. Guests can indulge in over-sized and creative cocktails, such as the Shark Bite which is playfully garnished with a shark toy. Since its inception, Joe’s popularity has stemmed not only from its menu, but also its retail store. With various pieces of merchandise for purchase, including the ever-popular tie-dye T-shirt with the phrase “Peace, Love and Crabs,” Joe’s has become synonymous with the word “fun.”

Our server Amber was amazing. Everyone was super kind and friendly. They made my bestie’s 40th surprise party PERFECT. Thank you all again!!!!

On Labor Day, they staffed with only one server/bartender. It was shortsighted. I had a 2:30pm reservation, and was not seated until 3:00. The waitress was wonderful-it was not her fault. But I watched you lose 4 multi-person tables because of the wait time.

Unfortunately the food was exceptionally bad. My wife sent her first dish back but the replacement was just as bad. We won’t be going back.

Receptionist/ seater was very rude. Waitress was exceptionally pleasant and accommodating. Atmosphere was cold so the food on the plate got cold fast after served. Some foods were a little over cooked, salted and dry but still tasty.

We made reservations for 5pm… got seated at 4:45pm - didn’t get our food till almost 6pm. People who sat down after us got their food before us. Wrong meal was brought out for me and it took forever to get corrected after the mistake was pointed out. Very disappointed with the service received. Spoke with manger and nothing was done really to fix the issue. He brushed it off as the meals were fixed so everything else was acceptable.

I don’t usually post negative reviews, however, the food was mediocre. My shrimp and lobster were overcooked. The bar never made our drinks. Our waitress had to go make them herself because we were almost finished with our appetizer and they still hadn’t been made by the bartender. Our server was amazing. This is not the first time I have been dissatisfied with the food here but wanted to give it another try. Next time we will go someplace else.
