Joe’s Crab Shack offers a variety of favorites from all parts of the sea and shore. From its extensive menu, guests can choose from buckets of seasonal seafood, fried shrimp platters and fish dishes, as well as options from the “mainland” that include steak, sandwiches, and chicken. Guests can indulge in over-sized and creative cocktails, such as the Shark Bite which is playfully garnished with a shark toy. Since its inception, Joe’s popularity has stemmed not only from its menu, but also its retail store. With various pieces of merchandise for purchase, including the ever-popular tie-dye T-shirt with the phrase “Peace, Love and Crabs,” Joe’s has become synonymous with the word “fun.”

Made a reservation after seeing Joes at the Harbor. Used the annual 25 dollar club credit. The shrimp samplers were great. Had a happy hour app also. Lively with a couple birthday celebrations. Being in the second floor provides a nice overall view. Nice time.

Our server was nice but clearly new, she was unfamiliar with the menu and bar options. She wasn’t attentive, and we didn’t get refills on our drinks. Our meal came out by others, and then we had to wait to flag someone down to get drawn butter and our aides. Meanwhile everyone else at our table was eating and we had to wait.

It was our last night of vacation and we wanted what we thought would be a fun and good meal for our family. We were sat, our beverage order was taken. Kids drinks came quick, we waited well over 20 minutes before asking where our server and the treasure mary was. Evidently they were waiting to see if they had the shrimp to garnish. An additional 10 minutes went by the drink finally came and it had the shrimp, waitress stated she would bring the additional garnish for the beverage, that never came. Our waitress was basically no where to be seen. My wife's dish came out cold and with the wrong side dish when the waitress asked specifically twice to confirm. Honestly, the overall experience was horrible. My wife has been looking forward to eating there for months and to say we are disappointed would be a severe understatement.

We had a wonderful server who was there for our needs but didn’t hover. Food was good, potatoes were over cooked. We were given a table with a good view but it was very hot. Hostess was good and timely in seating us.

We booked for a 5:15 for our daughter’s birthday, noted it twice in the reservation. Checked in at 5:10 told we have to wait, no biggie but the hostess was blunt. We waited until 5:30. The first waiter came and asked about the bday, wrote the name, etc. ordered two skinny margaritas and they were horrible!! Traded one for an old fashioned and it was made with Jack Spiced, so it tasted like a horrible Christmas candle. Now the food: appetizer didn’t come until after the two tables that came after us received their entree. Then the mains : shrimp platter, salmon, kids steam bucket, weee meh at best. No butter , no utensils, no effort to add salt on anything. We hoped to salvage the evening with a birthday song. NOPE. Gave the check and quick bye. Entire experience of waiting didn’t have us leave until 7pm. Don’t wait your time or money. You will age waiting for your food or a decent cocktail.

Waited 16 minutes before we were greeted by waiter. Party of 5. Had the peel and eat shrimp for table appetizer. They were good but the old bay was just sprinkled on top so very little flavor. Ordered 4 snow crab buckets and one steam pot. The crab legs were small, and we all had problems getting the crab out of the shell. The meat was sticking to the inside. No crackers for the shell, instead it was a yellow pry tool which didn’t help much. Waiter was good. Overall I would not return because of the crab legs size and the old bay was only on the outside so little flavor. I know they sell by the pound but the larger ones are easier to eat. Often restaurants will apologize for whatever and ask you to contact them. I say you have my info through open table contact me!

I got charged for what was in my receipt then got an additional charge for who knows what that I’m trying to figure out. For it not being packed the service took forever.
