Joe’s Crab Shack offers a variety of favorites from all parts of the sea and shore. From its extensive menu, guests can choose from buckets of seasonal seafood, fried shrimp platters and fish dishes, as well as options from the “mainland” that include steak, sandwiches, and chicken. Guests can indulge in over-sized and creative cocktails, such as the Shark Bite which is playfully garnished with a shark toy. Since its inception, Joe’s popularity has stemmed not only from its menu, but also its retail store. With various pieces of merchandise for purchase, including the ever-popular tie-dye T-shirt with the phrase “Peace, Love and Crabs,” Joe’s has become synonymous with the word “fun.”

Very nice exciting place to enjoy and have fun food was fantastic!!! We had 13 in our party accommodations was perfect for the whole bunch

We have eaten at other locations and the food was much better. The seafood was over done making it difficult to remove from the shells.

Waited an hour for drinks that were wrong…. Ordered the king crab legs just steamed without any added rubs or sauces and that also same out wrong…. Asked to just pay for our drinks so we could leave and that process took another 25 minutes…. Just a total waste of time.

Sever was great Angie and gave us top notch service. However I think the food is overpriced and lacking flavor.

I have been to several Joe’s Crab Shack over the years and this one by far was the worst. The crabs were overcooked, lacking seasoning, and service was not the best. The waitress was clearly high while serving and you could smell the smoke on her and see the trick marks from shooting up on her hands. This dinner was a farewell for my two college students before leaving we were all disappointed with the food quality and lack of service. I will not visit this establishment again.

We chose JCS because it was on the river and while the view was decent, the food and service were both lacking. The food was bland, the server was no where to be found when we needed drink refills and she seemed as if she had better things to do. It was not even busy when we were there, but we still felt overlooked. Would have had a more satisfying meal and experience at a nearby fast food restaurant.

Very loud - the live band was so loud it was like being in a club at 5:30 in the afternoon. We couldn’t even have a conversation. It was my husbands birthday and the atmosphere ruined the experience. The food was fine but we will not be rushing. Back any time soon. The service was slow and we felt a bit ignored.

We went for a birthday. I got the chicken. It was very good. My daughter got steak. It was over cooked a bit. Husband and son both got one of the big plate of shrimp and crab. They both loved it. The waitress could have been a little nicer. She was fine I guess. Just seemed bored. Very expensive. 240.00 for four people.
