- waited to be recognized at the door - sat right next to a few other parties in an empty restaurant. - server was knowledgable and polite - mentioned strict dress code that wasn’t being monitored. - staff cleaning other tables near us left dirty linens in piles around our table - most of the food was delicious, cream spinach and steak were disappointing for the price.

I have been here once before and enjoyed the experience and food. This time was not as good. Our cocktails were served quickly. I felt the food all came out with good timing until we finished he main course. Then we had to wait over 20 minutes before our server came back. It also got super hot to the point we were sweating, so we got dessert to go. Even getting the desserts to way to long (it was cheese cake and a choc cake.... so already made). We started with oysters and they were not shucked from the shell at all-which becomes frustrating quickly. Our soups and salads were all great. Our main courses were good. I had the scallops last time but did not feel they had much flavor this time. The corn pudding also just tasted like pure lemon, so other than to try it-no one ate it. Overall, I was a little let down with the food and the service towards the end. I am local to the area and am always looking for upscale dinning to take guests to, I am unsure I will return.

Celebrating my father’s 88th bday and Andy our server was fantastic but personable and knowledgeable. Appetizers, cocktails and desert were exceptional the entrees were good. Atmosphere is elegant yet warm.

Not a fast meal, but had fun spending time with friends- but lots of fun food options, huge wine selection, thorough explanations of options on menu. Comfy and clean! So easy to get to as well.

This was our 43rd anniversary. My wife says it was absolutely one of the best restaurant experiences we have had and we have had many. We highly recommend.

I truly hate leaving negative reviews but I have to be honest. My experience here was extremely underwhelming, especially for the price. There were 6 of us in for Father's Day. I ordered the 12 ounce lobster and it was like cutting through rubber. We also ordered the full crab legs and it was good but not for the amount of meat we got. I don't mind paying high prices for a meal when the quality is there but truthfully, it just wasn't at Joe Muer's. Service was great though!
