Jocko’s Steakhouse is family owned and a longtime Central Coast favorite. Our family’s
hospitality roots date back to 1925, or so the story goes. Jocko’s is legendary for hand cut aged
steaks grilled over an open fire of red oak coals. A style of cooking native to the area that dates
to the Spanish Rancheros. We offer an extensive dinner menu serving a variety of steak cuts,
ribs, pork chops, chicken, seafood, steak burgers, specialty sandwiches and more. Jocko’s offers an extensive wine list, a broad assortment of cocktails and both draft and bottled beers. The specific brands and serving costs are available at the restaurant.

We drove from the LA area to bring family visiting from Guatemala to eat at Jacko’s - they loved it! Quality meat! Our service was great as well. Thank you. Thank you for your continued service! We will be back!

My recent dining experience with my family at Jockos was exactly what we wanted and more. Every box was checked: friendly and fast service, atmosphere (as I prefer dimmer lights and low noise), overall value, and of course the quality of food. I'm 43 and have been to many different steak restaurants across different states. I have to say the 20oz filet mignon that Jockos serves is probably the best steak I've ever had; it's soft like butter and every bite is perfect and delicious. Our waiter, Danny, was very professional and friendly at the same time and made our experience truly special. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great steakhouse to check out Jockos in Nipomo. If you live in the local area, it's almost a guarantee you'll be back at some point.

Still the same great steak/food that I remember from 54 years ago when I attended Cal-Poly in SLO.

The food was good. I had been to Jocko's before. I was visiting with a friend and we opted to eat in the bar area. A little noisy with a group that were enjoying themselves.

We ate on early side, great not crowded. Food & Service outstanding! Jocko’s has been an icon forever and food is still the best. Best lest overs the next day!

In all my years growing up on the Central CA coast in Santa Maria and Arroyo Grande, this is the first time I've ever been to Jocko's. Not exactly what I expected. Ambience leaves a little to be desired. I don't think it's been updated for most of the decades it's been open. For the prices I expected something a little bit fancier. However, the food is great! Good sized portions but not ridiculously ginormous, and excellent service. It was fairly quiet when we arrived, but got louder as more people arrived. I would go back if someone else was picking up the check.
