Aménagé dans une demeure de caractère splendide du sud des Etats-Unis, au cœur de Nashville, berceau de la musique country, le Jimmy Kelly’s demeure la référence en matière de steakhouse américain. Fondé en 1934, pendant la Grande Dépression, juste un an après la fin de la prohibition, le Jimmy Kelly s'est fait une promesse. Il servirait de bons steaks, une portion généreuse de whisky et s'assurerait que le service est toujours attentif. Cette promesse est la pierre angulaire du succès du restaurant et c'est ce qui lui a permis de survivre et de prospérer. Plus de 80 ans après, la troisième génération de Kellys est aux commandes. Ce lieu est l'un des grands restaurants historiques de la ville et du sud-est tout entier. Venez à tout moment savourer un bon steak et une portion généreuse de whisky !

I had sea bass which was good but they have changed it to stuffed with crab meat. The old way was better. My friend had salmon which was a disaster, they have changed it to stuffed with garden vegetables, ugh. We always have blackberry cobbler which is awesome, they have changed it to some other kind of berries in a little cake mix. No cobbler at all. Worst meal we ever had, we found out they have a new chef.

Everything was wonderful for our anniversary dinner. We had the special which consisted of watermelon salad, 6oz filet and lobster tail plus key lime cheesecake. Jimmy Kelly’s is one of favorites and will continue to patronize.

After reading some recent negative reviews we were a little skeptical but were pleasantly surprised. We received an email about a filet/lobster special which sounded pretty good. Yes, they have changed their menu to everything a la carte like most other upper scale steak restaurant's and yes, the prices have increased. However, based on our experience the food and service were all very good. Alexis was a waitress and took good care of us. The cornbread "pancakes" are still served before your meal and were nice and warm. We had had them before and they were a little overcooked. The steak was tender and prepared as ordered. The Kates potatoes were excellent along with using pineapple on the brussels sprouts was also a nice touch. Key Lime cheesecake was also tasty. All that to say, we'll be back.

We had the special Filet and Lobster and it was delicious! Watermelon Salad and Key Lime Cheesecake was delicious also. Our Waiter Steve was very attentive to our needs! Highly recommend Jimmy Kelly's!

We had excellent food and our server Jessica was great. That said, I think their prices are outrageous! This new owner must think EVERYONE wants to pay $66 or $90 for a steak and no sides!

We enjoyed our dinner. Much better than our last visit. We had decided to never go back after a horrible experience-amateur server, burnt steak, over-priced food. Maybe they are catching on that they can't build a business that survives on catering only to tourists. Steak and lobster meal was a hit.

Lauren was great - the place is inviting and beautiful. We got the special steak n lobster- watermelon salad and key lime cheesecake. The Asian dressing on the salad we could not see it nor taste it - Lauren brought us dressing- it was good just minimal flavor for an Asian dressing we were surprised- my steak was well done just how I like it - the lobster was well done too- lol. The cheesecake was really good- the best part were the corn cakes. It was all good just not great for $154- not including a nice tip.

Had a wonderful experience at Jimmy Kelleys. Our server, Kenny, was excellent and knew the menu extremely well. He made some suggestions that turned out to be spot on. The food was delicious and impeccable. The prices have risen recently so don't be surprised. However, they are currently running specials such as Happy Hour and a 3-course special; filet and lobster with salad and dessert for $65 which is an excellent deal. The watermelon salad was unique and refreshing with candied jalapenos as a nice touch to the cool watermelon. The Kates potatoes are awesome and a huge portion. You can use the leftovers to make a great breakfast potato dish. The desserts are classy and delicious as well.

Excellent waiter, atmosphere classic, clean, a place you would take someone you wanted to impress, not worrying about being embarrassed by the food, or feeling rushed to leave.
