Located in the St Julien Hotel, Jill’s Restaurant & Bistro offers a thoughtful menu featuring fresh, local and dynamic ingredients. The kitchen, helmed by Executive Chef Rich Byers, sources its ingredients through partnerships with local farms, creameries and ranches, its own on-site garden and Boulder’s seasonal Farmer’s Market – conveniently located across the street – where the chefs procure the freshest herbs, vegetables and fruits. These ingredients are used to create scratch-made food, including pasta, bread, pastries, sauces, jus and more.

We love the location of Jill's and the food we had tonight was very tasty. The Tator Tot app was wonderfully delicious! The only real complaint I have about Jill's is that as soon as we ordered our desserts, a check was dropped and there was no further service after dessert delivery. This has happened MANY times when we dine here. Please continue to refill coffee, water etc and check on your tables AFTER you drop the bill!

The St Julian as a whole - management to front line- need to read Unreasonable Hospitality… we had dinner at Jill’s after our spa appointments.our server was super personable but either wasn’t trained right or had too many tables to give us basic service. Food was cold and mediocre. The restaurant was super loud- awful acoustics!

We were not greeted with a hello because the host/manager was on the phone and did not acknowledge us, and we were seated in the bar which was okay but not ideal. Our server was friendly but seemed to have very little sense of urgency, and it took at least 10 minutes to receive our drinks. Service was very slow and the wrong food was delivered to our table more than once, and we received no share plates with our appetizers. Delivery of our dessert also took extra long because “someone delivered it to the wrong table.” The food was excellent.

It was the Christmas day evening prix fixe menu, and I thought it was well thought out by the chef. Everything we had was delicious and unique with different flavor pairings. We throughly enjoyed it.

This was a Christmas Eve prix fix dinner so my expectations weren’t that high. We were seated in a bar area and not in the main restaurant. Seemed like an overflow area. Food was good but not great. The sea bass was fishy tasting. The prime rib was good. The waiter did a nice job and replaced the sea bass with another entree. Overall the meal was ok given its high price tag. A non holiday meal would probably have been better. This was our first time here. Will give it another try when not so busy.

This was our second time and first time with a full meal. It was great! I was surprised by how quiet it was mid day on a holiday, but I was thankful for it. Service and food was lovely. Can’t wait to come back for date night.
