Borrowing its name from an influential 1850s-vintage bar in the Central Business District, this pub-like tavern (with courtyard) occupies an old brick Creole cottage in the French Quarter, where well-known local bartender Chris Hannah serves up cocktails both classic and contemporary. London-born chef Philip Whitmarsh runs the kitchen.

. Seated quickly. Great cocktails - Ordered Wagyu tongue and wahoo for entree's & affogato for dessert and everything was fabulous. Gallen was our waiter and gave us on point recs for the next day of where to go. Out of tri tps.

Our party of 5 was excited to dine last night, but we were all extremely underwhelmed. Upon reviewing the menu, we wanted to go elsewhere, but we had to place a credit card on file for our reservation so would have been charged. Drinks sounded good, but we’re just ok and we even sent one glass of wine back. Unfortunately, food was beyond limited, only 5 dinner options on the menu and they were out of one item, tri tip. The other food options available were all very uncommon and unappetizing. Not sure anyone finished their dish and we were all very disappointed. We will be skipping this dining option in the future.

Always a pleasure to dine here. The Columbina with Pineapple and Fig leaf Verdita was a personal favorite beverage and all of the food recommendations by our server Alicia were fantastic! Can’t wait to come back! (If they have the Affogato dessert or Foie Gras with chanterelles, GET IT!)

Absolutely fabulous. We tried almost everything on the menu and it was all amazing.

We just went for cocktails, but they were some of the best cocktails we've ever had! Staff was incredible and super knowledgeable. We had a great time.
