We had dined at Alinea the night before, and it was spectacular BUT we enjoyed Jeong even more for its personal touch. Excellent service, innovative not for its own sake but in service of creating memorable flavor combinations.

What a beautiful restaurant! I’ve lived in the city since 1999 and I think Jeong will be in my top five favorites. I’ve been meaning to visit and can’t believe it took us so long. The staff, especially tie-front sweater girl (she knows who she is, but I didn’t catch her name) was outstanding and so sweet. The timing of approach and service change was perfect. Love to see such casually-elegant service paired with an upscale food level. Loved the portions of the tasting. Perfect, savory bites with lots of depth. We particularly liked the fish cakes and tuna. All the food was delicious, but the combo of silk and crunch really made each dish unique. The icing on the cake was the heated coats for us to walk to our car!

We had a great experience at Jeong! We loved all the courses - our least favorite was the first course but everything else was divine. The service was impeccable and the servers were friendly. Loved the little touches like a take home cupcake for my boyfriend’s birthday and our coats warmed for the walk out.

Our group of 4 had a wonderful dining experience. The tasting menu and wine pairings were great, The service was excellent. The space is lovely. Will definitely return.
