Jeffrey's Restaurant & Bar est une institution culinaire de Austin depuis 1975. En 2012, le restaurant a fermé ses portes pour une rénovation majeure et a rouvert sous la direction du groupe de restauration haut de gamme de Austin, McGuire Moorman Hospitality. Le restaurant, niché dans un quartier calme à l'ouest du centre-ville dispose d'un bar animé, de trois salles à manger et des menus sur lesquels figurent des steaks vieillis à sec, des classiques réinterprétés et des produits locaux. Une salle à manger privée, un service de voiturier gratuit et un service de location de voiture et chauffeur sont disponibles. Josephine House sert le dîner, le brunch, le « Happy Hour », le souper et le spécial steak-frites du lundi soir. Le chalet Clarksville dispose d'un petit bar en marbre pour le café ou un cocktail, des tables intimes dans la salle à manger, une terrasse à l'ombre et une pelouse pour se prélasser. Le chef Alex Manley et son équipe préparent un menu quotidien éclectique mettant en vedette les meilleurs produits locaux.

The host for the evening the only Adi Badenhorst, the energetic, legendary South African winemaker from the Swartland region in South Africa. Badenhorst is a standout winery in the region and known world-wide for its full-bodied, complex Chenin Blanc white wines and Southern Rhone blend reds. Featured wines include select verticals of the family’s white and red wines as well as special single vineyard bottles. Menu highlights include seasonal canapes, Seared Barnegat Scallops, Venison Loin Paillard, Veal Tenderloin with Sweetbreads and Spinach Cannelloni, and Chocolate Intemperance.

We went to Jeffrey’s to celebrate my son and his wife new marriage. We could not be happier. The wait staff, hostess and all other staff were fabulous. The food and drinks were incredible. I need more of the bread today!!!! Thank you for helping us celebrate and making them feel special.

I visit a lot of restaurants and this is in the top 5. Exceptional food and service. When there’s a Michelin star to give in TX, this should definitely get 2.

Off the charts in every aspect - From the moment we entered the beautiful sexy inviting space - every single detail was five star! The staff is warm, engaging in a professional manner - they know how to run the show and make the guests feel taken care of and pampered. Our server Josh was a gem and the culinary experience will not be forgotten! We can’t wait to come back when we are in Austin again!

We had a gif card from my best friend for my birthday and we loved it! Harold was fantastic as well as Sloan in the bar and the sweet hostess. It was so memorable for my husband and I.

Good Anniversary Dinner and Close to Really Memorable Recommended. Great service as expected with strong allergy accommodations. Very good food with several highlights and a big miss. Hard to call it a good value with one entree so forgettable, but the cost is same as a large high quality sushi for 2 in SF, at least $100 less than Denver or Chicago. We'll return to try again with different entrees. Steak Tartar Excellent flavor and presentation. One of the best we've ever had. Truffle Deviled Eggs Delightful! Elevated. Chateaubriand Cooked rare + to perfection. Tender, juicy. Half was a bit too salty, but flavorful as expected. Snapper in Papillote Cooked to correct delicate firmness, but disappointingly unflavorful. An absolute miss and not worth finishing. Roasted broccolini Great surprise. Much more than a side. Highly recommend the smokey flavor and tender large stalks and florets. Drinks Vesper, Bijou Very good, pleasantly strong. Our server made an excellent gin recommendation for both. Very good wines with good, appropriate pours. Service Great service. Attentive, timely, unobtrusive. Staff prepared from our reservation notes. Knowledgeable to make good drink and food recommendations. Great celiac and allergy accommodations. Ambiance Lovely, intimate, good noise level. Looked and felt fine dining as advertised.

Jeffrey’s offers a wonderful dining experience with great service, delicious and menu choices. The popovers are an excellent start and the chocolate and berry treats complete the meal! I would recommend!

Arrived with extraordinary expectations based on reputation. Left less than overwhelmed. Service was really the miss. We watched two tables sat after us taken care of before our server ever came to our table. Once she did, it wasn’t much better. Wine was opened away from the table, and I was never given opportunity to validate it until it was decanted for 20 minutes and served with dinner. My wife’s cocktail was removed before she finished it without any inquiry of being done. I wound up pouring my own wine twice. Nuf said. Really good, overall. Not great.
