We love Jeff Ruby's and splurged for my husband's 60th birthday. We arrived a little early for our 7:30 reservation on a Sunday evening and only waited a few minutes before being seated. Our food overall was delicious however the New York Strip my husband ordered was more done than the "medium rare" that he requested. It was more medium - BUT he said it tasted so good that he didn't mind the done-ness. We did have to wait nearly 20 minutes after being seated before anyone came to the table to ask us our beverage choices. My husband had to flag down someone to get water and ask for our server to come to the table. This has happened to us previously at this Jeff Ruby's so I'm not sure what the deal is. Despite this, we had an overall good experience and our server Roby was very nice and pleasant to talk to!

Everything was fantastic!! Thank you so much for a wonderful evening with great friends and family. We have eaten at Jeff Ruby's in Louisville many times, but this was our first time in Lexington and it was outstanding!! Cheers!

We went here for my daughter’s birthday. The food and service were top notch and thought it was a special touch when they took our pic and gave it to us for the occasion. Well done.

The food was exceptional, as always. We arrived at our reservation time, and our table was ready without any delay. We enjoyed sitting in the bar area, where the piano music added to the atmosphere. However, unlike our previous visits, the service did not meet the usual high standards. Our reservation was at 5:45 PM, well before the evening rush, so we were somewhat surprised by the experience. While we have consistently received impeccable service in the past, this time it fell short of those expectations. That being said, the service was not poor; it simply did not align with our previous experiences. We recognize that everyone can have an off night, so we chose not to let this affect our gratuity.

Everyone was awesome! From the moment we walked in they were so nice. Don and Hannah are the best! John came by to check on our experience as well and the food was spectacular and staff was fabulous! Highly recommend! Best anniversary ever! Thank you!
