First time we have dined there. We enjoyed the meal just having a main course. I had the Sweet & Sour Pork and my wife had the Chicken skewer Kebabs. Both meals were a very tasty and a good size portion. We both agreed we would try it again sometime. We had a new waitress who was just on her 2nd shift and training, she did very well.

We regularly visit JD Young in Harleston and things have changed recently in the restaurant. The food is still quite a high standard but the selection has been cut back. For instance, there are now no options to order steak. As well as the condensed down menu the prices have jumped considerably in the last year or two. The restaurants look, feel and ambience, which is quite up market doesn’t really sit well with the menu of fast food options. Strange combination. But when the food does arrive, it’s always well presented and very tasty, despite the high prices. We will continue to visit this restaurant but may be a bit less so than we’ve done in the past to save some money.
