    Lovely ambiance! Beautiful restaurant eclectic and Black centered. Went for a live performance, band and singer were excellent. HOWEVER the food was horrible. The chef needs to be fired. The appetizer of jerk chicken patties was inedible. The entree of fried chicken, collard greens and mac and cheese was disappointing to say the least. That is the trinity and if you can’t make that there’s no hope. The drinks were good so I will return for the show and drinks ONLY. Its sad that its so difficult to find a restaurant w/ a good ambiance, good service, good food and good drinks; its usually one or the other. Do better Jazzy’s

    I will start with the positives first. The ambiance is very. Creatively decorated with the smooth jazz playing in the background. However, it all went downhill when we were seated. It took over 30 minutes to receive our drinks when the table behind us was seated after us. We had to ask our waiter, plus another waiter when the drinks would be ready. It took another 15 minutes for the bartender to bring them to us. The waiter told us, due to the wait, the drinks would be discounted. My husband first ordered the Wyclef and we were told they did not have griot available. He then ordered the Marley and asked Haitian pikliz on the side and was told did they did have any available. 0/2 failed attempts to order what he wanted. I ordered the rasta pasta and when it was delivered the pasta was overcooked and there was barely any of the cream sauce. The cabbage ordered as the side was decent, but the not the flavor I've tasted in the past. Finally, we were ready to leave. 40 mins had passed before our waiter came back to the table to check on us, so again we had to ask the host (who was acting as a waiter) for the check. Between waiting for the check, the check being corrected TWICE because the drinks were not discounted as previously told and an additional side being added to the bill, it was another 25 mins before leaving the restaurant. Needless to say, what should have been a relaxed date night with my husband, turned into a chaotic mess. We will not be returning.

    The place is wonderfully decorated and feels like a jazz club. The music was amazing. A couple of things they need to work on. It took at least 20 minutes to get a beer for my husband and my martini (which was made with too much vermouth). It then took at least 45-1 hour to get our food and we ordered salads as our main dish. The other thing is that we sat up front by the stage and you can hear and see the TV in the bar area. It's distracting. We would definitely go back, however, I am hoping they address the bar and food issue.

    Not a bad place to go especially if you want some live music and a little bit of culture. Food was really good. Drinks were really good. Service was just good.

    First visit , went inside and stood at door for about 7 minutes for someone to notice us and seat us. Most of the dishes were out of stock. This was a comedy night. I ordered the Marley, the jerk chicken was out so they used grilled chicken. The rice and peas were crunchy, so I'm sure it was microwaved, this is also probably why the plates were hot. They were microwaved. Not much food for the price of $25. Small potions. It just didn't taste fresh at all! The comedy show was good. I will go back for another try because I have heard the food was good, maybe this was just an bad night.

    Didn’t expect a country band to be playing on new years weekend. I would think if we sat on the other side that there would be some other music playing. Was not happy with the vibes.

    I went for my 50th birthday and I enjoyed myself. I just think they need to get more waiters because it takes a while to get food/ drinks my second drink I asked for I never received. But overall it was nice.l

    This place is amazing, we would come back. The food is okay (I had the jerk chicken, chicken was seasoned well the rice was hard) The waiter offered to switch the side as he was amazing. I opted not to bother and enjoyed the amazing music.

    My husband and and I ordered jerk chicken, fried rice and a side of plantains. It was the best jerk chicken I ever had!! The staff is quite attentive and the entertainment was outstanding!! We will definitely be going again.
