The Acclaimed Monday Night Jazz Jam is Back (MNJJ)!! Started in 2008 by the late Founder Billy Hall (Piano), Co-Founders Don Black(Sax) Yvonne Coleman (Jazz Personality & Business Exec.) along with several founding members. We paused during the pandemic and finally found our new home starting this month at the newly expanded Jazz Tastings!! Live Music - MNJ Music Director Joseph Jevanni since 2009, his band InTensity, flavored with musicians & vocalists who are invited to sit in. 7:30-pm-10pm! $10 cover charge to book, $25 minimum spend required at the table per person.

Perfect place to enjoy a great night with a love one. Very friendly, music is great, crowd is very mature, food is very tasty.

The only five star was the atmosphere. It was downhill from there. Seating was not good, off to the side near the bar. The service was awful, slow and forgetful. Mandatory 20% tip was unexpected but not surprising considering poor service would likely not garner more than 15%! A request for bread pudding and coffee was, and I’m not exaggerating, 30+ minutes. There are better jazz venues, find one that doesn’t pickpocket.

Can out to enjoy the Live Room, it was truly an enjoyable night. The music was amazing with some great singers Tasha and Lisa. The band was top tier 👌 we will be back.

9/12/24- Our first time visiting Jazz Tastings and the experience was amazing. For appetizers we had the crab cake and Buffalo tenders. The crabcakes were fresh, seasoned and moist to perfection. The chickens tenders had just the right amount of spice. The hostess was pleasant. Our sever Candy (Apologies I spelled her name wrong) was amazing and her recommendations were spot on. For the main course we had the wild caught Salmon. The salmon was juicy, the asparagus was crisp and seasoned well. My partner was quiet the entire time as he was eating his Wagyu Burger which is a sign of how good it was! The Live Room band was awesome. Two Sticks the drummer put on a show! Jarrod Armstrong the saxophonist was beyond talented! Lisa and Latasha (Apologies for misspelling of their names) were there for open Mic night. Those ladies had vocals on them. The lead singer from Fish and Grits band paid tribute to the late great Frankie Beverly and it was entertaining!

Jazz Tasting is a very nice jazz club with wonderful artists. The food is very good and the staff members are very pleasant and friendly. The atmosphere is definitely for grown people. Great for a date night with your significant other or if you want a nice place to take a date. You won't regret stopping by.

The live Music was great and exactly what I was looking for and needed! The food was very good and the overall look and feel of the place was fantastic. Definitely will be returning more often.

Jazz tasting is a always a great experience for me. Took my mother as she was visiting from out of town and she loved it. The food , the atmosphere, the music, the service was great. It is a bit pricey but worth it for a night out.
