The Acclaimed Monday Night Jazz Jam is Back (MNJJ)!! Started in 2008 by the late Founder Billy Hall (Piano), Co-Founders Don Black(Sax) Yvonne Coleman (Jazz Personality & Business Exec.) along with several founding members. We paused during the pandemic and finally found our new home starting this month at the newly expanded Jazz Tastings!! Live Music - MNJ Music Director Joseph Jevanni since 2009, his band InTensity, flavored with musicians & vocalists who are invited to sit in. 7:30-pm-10pm! $10 cover charge to book, $25 minimum spend required at the table per person.

This is the place to be with your Love One for a romantic date. Live Jazz music was Awesome! Our waitress was excellent, very kind, on point on her timing. Food was ok, I got the crab patty, it was too mushy for me didn’t care for it. But everything else was great!

Music was outstanding. Awesome R&B just amazing. The food was phenomenal. The bar drinks best I’ve ever had.

My wife and I try to get a date night as much as possible (which means every 2-3 months) and we love trying new places. We do repeat visit places that we really like but it is often years before we make it back to such an establishment. It may have been 5 years since we last visited Jazz Tastings. We had a great time but I honestly do not remember what we ate. Anyway… I chose it again for our date night last night and let me tell you… Effing AMAZING! First off, we arrived for our reservation at 7:30 and it was absolutely packed. They immediately sat us though at the one open table that was literally front center to the stage. We love live music so it was a welcomed place to sit. We sat close and were able to have some conversation throughout the night. The service was fantastic and attentive, the band was extremely talented and entertaining even between songs, and the food was delicious. We split a Kale ceasar salad (I usually think kale is too bitter so steer clear but this was excellent). My wife ordered the Mushroom truffle pasta and I got the Steak Frites. We pretty much ate half of each others plates and completely demolished all of it. This was accompanied by the Prisoner red wine. We certainly will not wait so long to come back again. Jazz Tastings was really Dope, my wife and I dined there on Friday October 4th and we had an amazing time. The food, the drinks and the Vibe was top notch. The live band of Dayvid Stewart was incredible. We will definitely be back and we highly recommend the Blacked Chicken Pasta and Lobster Ravioli. If you are a Rye Whiskey drinker, I would recommend the Soul Rye’d 16 and my wife enjoyed the Pinot Grigio Copper Ridge, California We had the Calamari as our appetizer and it was a nice portion with great flavor. The addition of the sweet Chili peppers set it off! We highly recommend this restaurant, we had an appetizer, Great Meal, Dessert and 4 drinks with a live band for less than $200.00. The restaurant had about 20 tables for parties of 2 and 4 booths for parties of 4 or more, a bar and a long table that could accommodate about 16 people. The service was incredible as they were very attentive to our needs. #positivibes #thethomas’ #liveband
