Jaya signifie « victoire » en sanskrit, et le nom a été choisi par l'équipe de l'hôtel The Setai en l'honneur de son célèbre décorateur d'intérieur, Jaya Ibrahim, et de ses dix ans de succès à offrir une hospitalité d'inspiration asiatique. Made reservations over a week ago and specifically requested main dining area as it was our son’s 18th birthday dinner. When called to confirm I also confirmed seating. When we went to check in with the hostess she said our table was in the smaller dining area and if we wanted a table in the main dining area we would have to wait over an hour or more. I explained to her that I specifically requested main dining area and she argued with me that know one would have confirm that with me when they called to confirm. She was not accommodating or friendly. Once I asked to speak with her manager the very nice hostess next to her said very quickly all you have to do is this and we were seated right away in the main dining area as we originally requested when we booked. Besides this our waitress and service was excellent. Food was good. My husband enjoyed his steak, my son had pad thai and I had the branzino fish that was simple but good. Dessert was fair. Second time dining here and although I would return but not sure I’d rush back.

I don’t understand the 20+ % service chrg plus the servers ask for tip plus tax it’s almost 40% up chrg Food & drinks are amazing the show is excellent & the vibe is great. I just have a problem with 40% up charge

It was our first time there and we were not disappointed! The ambiance was so upscale and the total experience was beyond expectations. It was truly more than just dinner, but an experience!

We had a nice time but were disappointed when we arrived and checked in that our reservation didn’t get us an outside table, we were put in the overflow area and were told that if we wanted to wait an hour we could sit outside. Whatever, seems like these type of restaurants have lost their ambience and become like factories
