Booked 7 of us for Sunday lunch at 4pm - big mistake!! 4 of us couldn’t have the starters that we wanted, 2 of us couldn’t have the mains as they had run out. Turkey dinner was literally 1 slice and the lamb was inedible. Had to ask for cream or icecream to go with our desserts as this is not offered, no custard for the sticky toffee pudding. Never again!!

My Lamb meal was very chewy, potatoes were like concrete, carrots and greens very good. My wife's beef meal was under cooked and tough.

Serves the best Sunday Lunch in Essex with easy parking and spectacular views and just as important, at a realistic price. Give it a try!

Starter was prepped and not nice. Main was luke warm. Service very slow. Would not go again

Really excellent meal, the service was lovely, nice touch that the staff handling cutlery wore gloves. Staff attentive but not overbearing Ambience .. crisp white table clothes … tables spaced ( not crammed in) Chilled Sunday lunch Recommend the sautéed prawns, and trio of meat

Very nice, comfortable surroundings. Pleasant staff and helpful. Place was very clean. Food was very nice. A bit smaller plates of food from when we went before last year. Overall very good.

Most enjoyable lunch. Superb decor and pleasant atmosphere. Staff are all very professional and friendly. Thoroughly recommend this restaurant.

Having visited Jaxons for a recent wake Food and service excellent. We returned for Sunday lunch and once again excellent. Will definitely return and also recommend to friends.
