JAX was a decent steakhouse. Based on other reviews I read, our group thought the overall experience might be better. The food was very good, but not outstanding. The service was good, but not great. The hostess was very nice. The waitstaff was just going through the motions, as if they had something better to do. Other restaurants we visited that week had much better service! Glad we went, as it is a good place to experience, but if we go back, we may sit at the bar next time.

Jax Steakhouse was TRULY top of the line food!!!! EVERYTHING that was ordered from our 3 Appetizers to 6 meals was 5-Star…. Each steak was cooked to perfection (from Med Rares to the Mediums) with amazing flavor, delightful sauces to choose from to accompany! The black truffle pasta appetizer was PHENOMENAL, Meatball Appetizer so soft and delicious!!! Everything ordered was a 10 out of 10. Not just for the Island but can stand up to ANY STEAKHOUSE in the States. Our Sever Sava was pure Class - attentive, personable, knowledgeable and accommodating. Great experience, great location.

El servicio es excelente y el ambiente muy elegante. La comida es rica, pero las porciones son exageradamente pequeñas. Debe servir porciones un poco mas grande.

Thursday 9pm resy for 2, greeted and seated promptly, Friendly service. We started with the meatballs and bacon scallops, they were delicious!!! I had the chicken and it was so juicy and flavorful! I definitely recommend this spot.

Our first time there..the service was great! Everyone was very friendly. The food was good. The Brussels sprouts were spicy so don’t order if you don’t like them that way. The Mac and cheese was delicious!! 2 of us ordered skirt steak which was a little chewy but still good and 2 of us had filet minion which was very good! We shared the black and white dessert..it was really good! I would definitely recommend.
