We always make sure to make a reservation at Jax while vacationing in Sint Maarten. This was our eighth time eating here. The steaks were phenomenal tonight. I would say they were the best steaks we have ever had here. We both got filets. They were juicy, tender and the butter on top was so flavorful, the sauce they served with it wasn't needed. The parmesan fries were not very good, but with our salads and steak, we were pretty full already. Service was unusually slow. Our server was very nice, but not very speedy. I do wish the table set up was different. I don't like when restaurants have shared spaces with other diners. Our table for two happened to share a booth seat with a table for four. While the party of four were all lovely people, it makes it hard to enjoy a nice dinner and conversation with your own spouse when other people are seated a foot away.

The waitress was great, the kitchen was poorly managed and I was told the manger wasn’t there.. we waited over an hour for food. When it arrived it was Luke warm but was delicious.

Everything was perfect! Ordered appetizers and sides to share between 4 people and all of it was delicious! Very friendly wait staff and the Chef even came out to introduce himself and see how our meal was! How nice! Always a favorite when we visit St. Maarten!
