The happy hour oysters were fantastic, a good value and very fresh. Although the Cracker Jack oysters were quite small. The Apres were much bigger and deliciously buttery and briny. I had the Lobster Cacio e Pepe and it was one of the most delicious pasta dishes I’ve ever eaten. Would order it again in a hot minute. My dining partner had the crab cake and reported it was very good—thick and full of crab with a tasty remoulade. Our server was terrific, friendly, personable and attentive to the right degree.

The food was disappointing. The calamari tasted like it was frozen out of a box . The west coast and east coast oysters were ok, however the roasted oysters were so small , seemed like all you had was a shell and spices . The ceviche’s was weird . I asked the server if it was spicy and he said no ; however it had a lot spice and the scallops were very small and few. Very disappointed evening for a special birthday dinner . After the appetizers, we left .

Walking into Jaxwas in the cool of the evening is like stepping onto a California or Cape Cod pier. The restaurant has a beautiful and inviting aroma of ocean freshness. We had a wonderful dinner. I hadn't been here in years, and it was better than I remembered. It was a great evening.

Excellent as always. We get to Denver a couple times a year and always try to make it to Jax for dinner. Food and service is always perfect.

Always a treat to have a meal here!! Today we went for my husbands and I 16 year wedding anniversary. This is probably the 4th we have celebrated at Jax’s, and once again they did not disappoint!!
