Food here at Javier’s is unmatched, hands down the best high end Mexican restaurant. Atmosphere is great with DJ music and excellent service. On of our favorite restaurants, but more on expensive side (think high end steakhouse pricing)

We have been going to Javier's La Jolla for many years...and it never disappoints! Celebrated my wife's birthday with some friends and enjoyed the outstanding food and specialty cocktails.

Excellent food and music at Javier’s La Jolla. Our waitress was awesome ! Best salsa and guac !

The restaurant was extremely loud and crowded. Very little space to move about or even pose for a picture. The service was decent. The food was not good at all. Everything tasted like absolutely nothing. If you’re looking for some high scale Mexican food, try somewhere else. We racked up about a $200 bill among two people and didn’t like a single thing we ate. We hated our drinks but weren’t allowed to change them for something else or get them taken off the bill. We spent $200 on meals we hated. Would not visit again.

Food is alright and way too overpriced for what it is and the portion sizes. Guacamole and shrimp ceviche was pretty good in taste. Servers were attentive. Restaurant itself is very nice.

I really enjoyed my dining experience. Server was attentive, music was vibey and fun, food quality was top notch and authentic and the decor is gorgeous, well thought and tropical. I brought work colleagues here and they were very impressed. I’ve been to 2 of the Javier’s locations and they are both a 10/10. I was sad they had a time limit (2 hours) and asked us to leave for the next party on a weekend but that goes to show you how many people want to dine here. If you can snag reservations, I would 100% recommend going for it. Keep in mind they only seat when the entire party is present.

The food was great but even better were our servers and waiter. Positive, upbeat, and engaged. They made everyone feel special and provided a great service to our group.

Nice vibe, better than the Vegas location as it was much quieter and we could talk. Special salad was really good as are the chips and salsa. Steak fajitas were excellent. Good service and had a good time.
