We didn’t have suuuuper high expectations but this place actually exceeded whatever expectations we had. We went on Friday morning so it was pretty much empty but staff were still pretty tentative. Hubby had the salmon burger, I had the French toast. Drinks, I had a ginger shot, and he had a cocoa nib, banana smoothie type drink. Everything was very good! No complaints.

Our overall experience was poor due to bad service from beginning to end. The host seemed confused around our reservation. No one came to take our order or bring water. After 15 minutes I had to go ask someone where our waiter was. After ordering, our coffee took 10 minutes, food took over 30 to arrive. They were not busy. Super disappointed, won't be back.

For my first time there, I thought the place is quite large. It is nice and clean, food was incredibly fresh, and the mango passion fruit margaritas are delicious. Overall, a good happy hour if you are in the area.

We made a reservation, knowing it was a busy spot, and the staff just shrugged and said "find a table." peak Saturday brunch we had to wait 15 minutes to find a table not in the blaring sun (our reservation was for indoors) The food and coffee is great, we had yummy pastries, chicken shawarma, coffee and tea and it was great, but the "reservation" is not real and the service model seems inefficient. The staff is great, dealing with the chaos model given to them.

Great, central location in downtown Silver Spring with ample public parking across the street. First visit to this newest location—it was lovely to sit outside on the patio, listening to the live music, eating good food, and being able to carry on a conversation at a normal decibel level.

Service was a little weird. We walked in for our 1pm reservation and stood there for a couple minutes before deciding to self seat. No one acknowledged us seemed everyone was kind of scrambling elsewhere. Food was very tastey but the entrees were not filling. I had the bronzino which was a really small serving and realized after i left. Still hungry, they did not put my roasted potatoes on my plate…so i ate 1/2 fillet of Bronzino with broccolini and no potatoes. The flavor was great but disappointing i didn’t get the full experience. We had a the tres leches cake which was good. We even walked over to the carry out for some desserts to go. The margarita flight was also a hit but it is not recommended to share since the drinks are so small.

the price of food is very high in term of quality and quantity. I had java burger and the price is $15. but how, quantity and ingredient are really less and it was not worth $15. if you go to other restaurant and have burger with $15, you will have bigger and more full ingredient. also, tart $12. if you go to la madeline, you will get this $9. anyway, I would not go there again. not worth.

I have given this place 2 tries. Both times the food was ok, but service took way way too long. The staff is nice and pleasant. The servers seem over worked and missmanaged.

Service was a bit slow in the beginning. Food was sub par at best. Drinks were great! If I ever return it will be strictly for the margaritas.
