The hotel’s ground-floor entrance and street-level restaurant Jara throw open the doors to beautiful strangers and the buzzing street scene, while guests enjoy farm-to-table cuisine and fresh cocktails, café-style. On the menu are dishes that allow ingredients to do the talking: vine-ripened tomato tartare expresses the agrarian staple at its finest. Sea bass and other fruits de la mer celebrate Ibiza’s rich port history. In the evening, Jara is a social and culinary destination, upping the ante within intimate banquettes and closed curtains, creating an atmosphere where anything goes.

On October 10, Jazz Point Ibiza returns in 2024 for its fifth edition with a stellar line-up of jazz musicians from around the world. At 21:30h, in our Restaurant Jara at The Standard, Ibiza, where Andrés Coll will perform with the international headliners Jazz Point.

The food was great, the place is gorgeous. However, I do think the place needs time to improve. The location is not yet on the same level as the other properties in the Standard chain. For instance, the service was quite confused, could not recommend a red wine glass according to what I asked or what I ordered. The location was empty at 8pm, a few people were at the Bar and two waiters were talking with people they seem to be friends with while we were hoping to order something else and were trying to make eye contact with one of them. Yet, the potentiel is here since the food was good and the service very polite and smily.

La hostes Nathassa un poco seca, nos pregunto si teníamos reserva casi sin mirarnos a la cara, nos acompaño a la mesa y desde lejos casi sin pararse nos dijo esa es... El ambiente y la comida muy rica, comimos Ensalada de burrata, tartar de tomate, bacalao y raviolis de setas y trufa y de postre beso de fresa y torrija, estaba todo muy rico en una proporción adecuada al precio. Por poner una pega fue la privacidad, en el sentido que estábamos sentados en una mesa en la cual había muy poca distancia entre las otras mesas, podíamos escuchar perfectamente la conversación de la mesa de al lado. Esto ya a modo detalle, fuimos por nuestro aniversario, detallado en la reserva como te indicaban y no tuvieron ningún detalle al respecto, es cierto que no están obligados pero normalmente suelen tener algún detalle, aunque sea como digo la privacidad en la mesa...

Perfect! Siempre es un acierto, lo único que nos gustaría una carta más amplia ya que lo hemos probado casi todo y queremos masss ;)

La experiencia fue sin mucho contenido,la hamburguesa y las patatas fritas normal,nada del otro mundo el precio bastante elevado 26€ .El “chef” supongo que le dio pereza hacer coulant de chocolate y compro de Mercadona que valen 1,10€ y los tienen en el menu a 11€.Me han sacado el postre en 25 segundos mas o menos lo que tarda en hacerlo a microondas! Un detalle que no me lo han cobrado! Y eso fue como “un grande expectativa con un grande desengaño”
