We love our local sushi spot! Great creative and so fresh rolls! To die for homemade SMOKEY soy sauce… and Saki selections to wash it all down with. Small place so make a resy!

We went for LA restaurant week and were very happy with the service and food. The room was almost "energetic" as we had a birthday group next to us that were deep into the sake. Parking was an issue but overall, 4.5 stars and would recommend.

We really enjoyed our experience at Japonica. I took my Father-in-Law for lunch the other day and we both ordered a Bento box. It was a good value, since mine was sashimi and his was sushi. The sashimi was $25 for 8 pieces of fish, a salad and side and a bowl of the best miso soup I have had in LA. Terrific service from Craig mad the lunch a fine meal. I may have found mu sushi joint.
