EXPERIENCE TEPPANYAKI
Japan Inn was established in 1990 when founders opened their first location in Plantation, FL. Since then we have been serving an extended variety of Japanese and Thai food including fresh sushi. We had the honor to be named Best Sushi Restaurant in Plantation by Hometown Herald readers.

In 2002 a second location was opened in Weston, FL, and soon enough it was voted Best Japanese Restaurant by “Best of Weston”.

Our third location was opened in Doral, FL during the summer of 2019, and we plan to keep growing to share our food and entertainment with our customers all over South Florida. The Japan Inn Group also owns Kimura Japanese Steak & Seafood located in Boynton Beach, FL.

We had a wonderful lunch for mother's day weekend. We went early so no wait. The chef was entertaining and everyone else also. The manager came around asking how everything was. The hibachi was excellent and so were the drinks. They gave each a rose for mother's day which was nice. I usually go there for special occasions like my birthday for hibachi and for regular seating other times and I'm never disappointed.

The chefs at the teppanyaki grill could have had a bit more energy and enthusiasm to enhance the atmosphere and create a more engaging and memorable dining experience.

My experience at Japan Inn Doral left much to be desired. From the outset, our dinner was marred by a series of mishaps that significantly detracted from our enjoyment. Firstly, our orders were mixed up between our table and another family's at the hibachi table we were sharing. Consequently, the other family ended up consuming the fried rice with chicken that we had paid extra for. To add insult to injury, when it came time to settle the bill, the waitress mistakenly passed my credit card to pay for the other table's check. Fortunately, I caught the error upon reviewing the receipt before signing. Moreover, the ambiance of the restaurant was further compromised by the fact that it was raining, and the ceiling was leaking, resulting in buckets being placed on the floor to catch the water. This not only detracted from the overall dining experience but also raised concerns about hygiene and safety. Overall, my dining experience at Japan Inn Doral was disappointing and marred by a series of unfortunate incidents. I hope that these issues are addressed promptly to ensure a more pleasant experience for future patrons.

Portions have definitely become smaller, but the price is the same…. Still, good food. Just not as good a value as it used to be.
