The best steak in Bloomington is now found at Little Zagreb. The overall experience, however, is quite disappointing due to the overbooking in which they repeatedly engage. We arrived at 7:30 on the dot. The reservation was for 7:30. There were a dozen customers standing, waiting to be seated. We were seated at 7:56. Had we arrived at 7:56, we would likely have been denied seating. How is it that this restaurant can expect us to be on time but they do not respect their reservation customers enough to seat them promptly---even 10 minutes late? I don't blame the hostess, as she was given a difficult task. I don't blame the servers because they have nothing to do with the seating. I blame the management but they must not care. I have left a similar review before. Last night (Saturday), the timing of various courses was also poor. The rolls were delayed, the steaks arrived only a couple minutes after the salads, not giving time to enjoy the salad. Perhaps the server had too many tables? She was really nice but the service was really uneven. The steak is good. The wine list is good. Be prepared to stand around waiting, with many other customers who have a similar reservation time. Apparently, the management's stance must be, "Hey, why change? The restaurant is full and we are making money hand over fist. So what if the customers become disgruntled!" If they cared and paid attention, minor adjustments could be made to make the experience better. The most obvious solution would be to not accept so many reservations for certain times on well-known busy evenings. Yes, I'll probably eat there again but if there were another steak option in Bloomington, I'd never return to Little Zagreb. I miss Scholar's Inn.

Janko's was great! The food was yummy (the steaks were cooked perfectly) and the staff were amazing (helpful, friendly and professional)! I would definitely go back!

The food was excellent. Our table had steak, shrimp and salmon. All perfect. Service was great, friendly and on top of everything. 3 of our group had never been and loved it.
