Janken is gorgeous!! I’d say the perfect place for a special occasion. I celebrated my birthday there and the food was phenomenal.

Overall, it’s a great place! I love the decor and the vibe. The service is excellent, and the food quality is good. The only downside is that, as someone who follows a plant-based diet, the options are very limited—there are no more than three vegan dishes available.

The service at this restaurant was excellent! However, I do think all the plates are far overpriced. For just a few drinks, an appetizer, a few sushi rolls & such for four people is going to run you over $500 with tip. We were going out for a birthday, so it was a really nice ambience and we were willing to pay the cost, but I’m not sure that we would go back.

The rice used for sushi/nigiri was cold and hard - you can tell it’s the same rice they used for crispy and fried rice so I would stick to those if I came back. Steak tar tar was very one note and needed salt, really only tasted if raw onion and truffle overload The bone marrow had carmelized onions which made it a bit too sweet and the bread pairs with it was covered in salt pretty much inedible Drinks were about 50/50

Had a lovely dinner that would’ve been even better had it been a little more timely. The food was delicious and creative. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately it took 45 minutes to get our first drink and place our food order, so our dinner ran longer than the two hours we had planned and we weren’t able to have dessert.

Every aspect of our experience was superb! The food was incredibly well executed with unique and quality ingredients. The service was impeccable, our server gave great recommendations including favorites off menu. We normally don't order dessert but were so glad we did- the Bingsu was light, flavorful and the perfect way to end our meal.

One of the best meals I’ve ever had, and our waitress was great too. Not to mention 10/10 cocktails. Absolutely could not recommend more.

The lobster roll, miso cod and fried rice were excellent. Service was professional, prompt and courses timed well for a relaxing dining experience. We will return.
