Janina Bistro is a BYOB restaurant located in Lebanon NJ. We offer unique Italian Mediterranean fusion dishes, including homemade pastas, steaks, chops, fish and other seafood dishes.

Our superb fusion of Italian and Mediterranean food brings our customers a diverse and exciting menu. Our menu features the traditional and authentic specialties of Old Italy, blended with innovative and inspired dishes rich with pasta, fresh seafood and choice meats.

Our menu is like no other. Offering unique daily specials, we constantly feature new items so each time you choose to dine with us, we give you a greater variety of selections to help broaden your Mediterranean horizons.

One of our "go to" BYOB's. Friendly ownership and staff. Food is consistently excellent. Specials balance out menu. Service is very good. My top two are the Veal Parm - the tomato sauce is great, and the Branzino special - crispy skin. My wife goes for the Chicken Janina or a special of the day. We go to Janina's 2-4 times per month. Also nice the it is BYOB with the liquor store nextdoor.

Great food, nice ambience, excellent servers and wait staff. Definitely worth putting on your short list of new places to try if you’ve never been. Is a BYOB and has the option of heated outside seating as well.

We enjoy going here and always enjoy our dishes. My husband had the Janina's chicken dish and said it was delicious. I'll have to try that the next time we go. Unfortunately the regular chef was apparently off from what I was told and my dish was made differently than the way it was described on the menu, and as I've had it before, missing the mascarpone cheese, which makes it completely amazing. I do wish that once the dishes were served the waiter would have come and asked how we were doing. I would have told him. Instead he came over when it was time for dessert with the dessert menu's and I told him then, but it was too late for it to be corrected. We've had both the limoncello cake in the past and the tiramisu this time. We would recommend you leave room for dessert. Both were very good. Even though this experience wasn't perfect, we would recommend that you try them.

Very nice place to meet up with friends and family. Service was great as was the food. The Beal dish was outstanding. Nice and thin. Didn’t even need a knife to cut it.

Janina's Bistro has both indoor and outdoor seating this time of year and is a BYOB. If you forget to bring a bottle of wine, Bourbon Street Wine and Spirits is right next door. It's a great place to get a good meal at a fair price. The staff is attentive and the atmosphere is comfortable. We live in Long Valley and had invited friends up the road from us to meet us there for dinner Friday night. We hadn't realized they'd never been here before. They both enjoyed their salads and fish entrees, saying they would be back again. If you haven't tried them, we would recommend you do.

We enjoy going to Janina's Bistro in Lebanon. They have indoor and outdoor seating and are a BOYB. The salads are made with fresh ingredients. Unlike some restaurants who use paper thin cuts for the veal parm. which are virtually tasteless and chicken could be substituted, here they serve a nice thick piece of veal which adds flavor to the meal and leave no doubt in your mind of what you're eating. The homemade spinach, and mascarpone ravioli in brandy sauce is absolutely delicious. We shared a piece of limoncello cake, and even though they do not make this dessert on premises as some of their others desserts, it was very good, tasting homemade. If you are looking for somewhere new to go, we would highly recommend them.
