Janina Bistro is a BYOB restaurant located in Lebanon NJ. We offer unique Italian Mediterranean fusion dishes, including homemade pastas, steaks, chops, fish and other seafood dishes.

Our superb fusion of Italian and Mediterranean food brings our customers a diverse and exciting menu. Our menu features the traditional and authentic specialties of Old Italy, blended with innovative and inspired dishes rich with pasta, fresh seafood and choice meats.

Our menu is like no other. Offering unique daily specials, we constantly feature new items so each time you choose to dine with us, we give you a greater variety of selections to help broaden your Mediterranean horizons.

We have been dining at this Bistro for many years -always been very good food This past Saturday, the restaurant had a new menu. The meatball appetizer was very bland, as was the sauce contained in the dish - perhaps they need to add some garlic, onion and celery. The entree - a pasta dish with shrimp and scallops - also very bland. The scallops were faux scallops, I guess made from several seafood/fish by products - lacking taste and texture. We plan on returning in the near future and hope that they have addressed the lack of seasoning in their food. We go to the Bistro about ten times a year, the people are great and the service, top notch.

My wife and I went there for Valentine’s Day 2025 for dinner. We’ve been there before a couple years ago, shame on me for not going back sooner. Everything was perfect; food was delicious and service was great for a holiday. My only suggestion, get a host/hostess for holidays and/or weekends.

Love this place and the new renovations are beautiful! And although some of our favorite menu items are gone - as with the new chef came an entirely new offering - all of the dishes we tried were wonderful. Of course it is the service and Ari always treating us like family that definitely makes us come back time and time again.❤️

If your looking for a nice night out where the quality of the food is good, the portions fair, and you're not spending a fortune, we highly recommend Janina's. A plus is this restaurant is a BOYB. Enjoy.

It was such a busy night and I was very happy that they accommodated us. I appreciate the clean, pressed white tablecloths , fresh bread,, and professional service.

A great find with consistency in both food and quality of service. It’s BYO but there is a liquor store next door with a decent selection. You won’t be disappointed!

We visited with a party of 4 for dinner before the Holidays.... even though the restaurant was packed, the food was incredible, and came out without delay. The servers are thorough and know their menu and happy to share recommendations and favorites. Janinas is consistently good food, and great service... highly recommend!
