Great food and experience! Everyone is knowledgeable about the drinks and the menu, and they’re really on top of the experience. The food is great and I think you’ll leave full - we always do. I like the way the menu changes with the season, the food is creative but also classic. Always good! Looking forward to our next visit and I definitely recommend trying out Jang if you are considering.

Food was really good and we left very full, but the service was a little lacking for this price point/style of dining (ie we said we wanted to get an add on at the start of the meal, and then they just brought dessert with no follow up on the add-on; rushing out the beverage pairing while we still had full glasses). Seems more like new restaurant stuff that they just need to work thru it.

OK, THIS place? YES!! I thought we might be in for a treat when the building front was very plain with little indication of the deliciousness hidden inside...I was right. We had the chef's choice meal and it amazed us both, with each of the 8 courses so carefully put together with layers of flavor that were entirely new and completely delicious. The mushroom dish? Best mushrooms I've ever eaten. Charcoal turnip with trout roe and brown butter furikake? Come on! At that point, I told them I might have to call the police and have them write up a citation for their food being too delicious to really be in the material world. I had the wine pairing and that was also a perfect pairing for the flavors of the meal. We ordered the extra short ribs and pork belly and both were terrific, but especially the short ribs-wow! We are going to be talking about that meal for a long time. All the wait staff were super attentive and really just careful with us, noticing when we needed more water or when a napkin had fallen and needed to be replaced. We're already looking forward to our next visit to Jang. We will be back.

So good. Great value and service. I would say improve the lighting a tiny bit, it's a nice space just needs some more "moody" lighting

My birthday dinner at Jang was outstanding. The food was delightful, and the drink pairings were on point. Learned about an elevated Korean rice wine and Tasmanian sea trout. I really liked that the dishes were elevated but still recognizably Korean food. I kept thinking about the taste fits "우리 맛." Thanks, 장, for a wonderful experience!

I felt that the experience was a little short in terms of menu. It would have been nice if they used fresh seasonal items in their menu. Things like the rice was too salty. Would have liked a soup type of dish. The dessert was disapointting- I make something similar at home and was not as good as what I make. I left feeling hungry.
