Situated next to the iconic Theatre Royal Drury Lane, Jamie Oliver Catherine St is an elegant oasis in the heart of Covent Garden.

Seasonally changing menus feature signature plates from Jamie’s childhood and years in the kitchen. From a show-stopping seafood cocktail and theatrical roast-chicken sharer to silky fresh pasta and a decadent Snickersphere dessert. All dishes and cocktails are built around carefully-sourced ingredients from the very best British farmers, producers and makers.

With a host of delicious veggie and vegan options and a kids’ menu tailor made for little ones, there’s something to suit all tastes.

The beautiful private dining area seats up to 36 guests and the main restaurant is available for exclusive hire for large parties and corporate events.

With cosy booths, a stunning Art Deco-inspired bar, tranquil indoor garden and sunny terrace this is a truly special place to dine.

Thus was really a quality dining experience for a good price considering the venue and in the theater district. The set menu is excellent, and everything was prepared in that way that makes even a good cook wonder why we ever bother!

From the moment we stepped inside the restaurant we were warmly welcomed and greeted. Shown to our table, the food was superb and very reasonably priced. The waiter was very friendly but not in your face and we just couldn’t fault it in any way.

Visited fairly late on a Thursday evening. Restaurant was full and fairly loud. Had a scotch egg, rainbow trout and a side of heirloom tomatoes. They were all delicious. The skin a the trout was crispy perfection. Didn’t really seem to hit it off with my server, he seemed distracted or perhaps newish, for example, at 9 pm on a busy day, he had no idea what the fish of the day was. Other than that, I enjoyed my meal and visit

Great ambience with a full house of people enjoying. Food the best so far in this area. The maitre'd was great giving us a great table

We had a lovely starter but the beef rigatoni was lacking flavour. We did not finish it.

Awful food. I ordered leeks that were literally just laid on a plate not even cooked. The waiter took them back without even asking me why I hadn’t eaten them. I think he knew that they were awful. The fish came unaccompanied and therefore a lot of money for just fish. Desert menu very limited. I would not recommend eating here.
