Jameson's Charhouse is a classic American steakhouse with a charming and relaxed atmosphere. This family-owned eatery opened in 1990 and has been serving lunch and dinner every day, seven days a week since then. Jameson's is a great place for late-night dining on the weekends as the kitchen is open until midnight and the restaurant features live music from 7:30 to 11:30 every Friday and Saturday.Jameson's menu takes all of the best elements of a great steakhouse and puts them on full display. Starters include decadent seafood like oysters Rockafeller, crab cakes and a jumbo shrimp cocktail. For dinner, the steaks are clearly the stars of the show. Diners can choose between dishes like ribeye, New York strip steak, filet mignon and butt steak as well as non-beef options like barbecued baby back ribs, pork chops and a rack of lamb brushed with dijon mustard.

We were seated upstairs and the temperature was at least 20 degrees warmer than downstairs. This made the experience pretty uncomfortable - if I wanted to feel like I was eating outside I would have booked the patio! It took 10 minutes after we were sat to be recognized by our server, even though she walked by our table several times. Food was ok, not worth trying again.

Jameson’s always delivers! However, it is disheartening when the prices are raised for Father’s Day. The place was packed! Was that really necessary? The plentiful and delicious food - good! Raising prices - not!

No chicken in chickem noodle soup. Lettuce near the core in salad. No taste for steaks. Sugar on creme brulee was not browned. Even though I made mention of our anniversary on our Open Table reservation, there was no mention of this important date by the hostess or server. Server was somewhat attentive, but not personable. Strictly business.

6PM reservations, were seated immediately. Our server Marina was very attentive, but not overbearing. Soup & Salad & Main courses were times perfectly. Dinner consisted of 1 Kansas City Strip Steak and 1 Pan Seared Scallops. Both were served as we ordered & were quite delicious! Would suggest both. Very nice evening!
