Welcome to JAM ,
Enjoy a warm and relaxed dining experience indulging in the tastes of North Queensland . We like to explore our region's seasonal produce and create contemporary cuisine without compromising the purity of flavour.

The JAM menu offers quick bites for a catch up through to our full a la carte selection. We also have a great special luncheon menu which is always popular.

As the sun sets over the CBD and Castle Hill sit back and relax over dinner at one of the window tables or enjoy the views of the river and CBD lights on the terrace. For a romantic dinner we recommend requesting one of the private booths. Try the Shared Experience a delicious and generous selection, great for 2 or more.

Our wine list offers a generous selection of wines ranging from small Australian producers through to stunning international champagne and wines.

Whilst our meals were delicious there was 5 of us dining and 2 of us wanted to have the share menu unfortunately this wasn’t possible unless all of us had it. As there were 5 of us we would have had to order extra anyway so I fail to see why 2 of us couldn’t have it whilst the others ordered off the menu. In saying that all our meals were delicious.

Went there recently for our wedding anniversary . We decided to go with the set menu for two people at $80 pp. We found the food and service excellent . Calamari was the star favorite though .We left there completely full and satisfied and a doggo bag as well there was that much food. We will defiantly be returning.

Very disappointing. I ordered a Masaman curry Duck sous vide. Hardly any curry sauce, duck was tough. I didn't enjoy it at all. Only thing on the dish I enjoyed was the black rice and the curry sauce, of which their wasn't enough. In a restaurant where their were few people dining, we were seated very closely to another diner. I understand if the restaurant was fully booked and all tables were full, but it wasn't. I like to be able to talk to my husband without needing to be aware of other diners sitting so closely. This was my birthday dinner, and I was very disappointed. Im not sure I would choose to come back here.

It’s can be really hard to dine out when you can’t eat Gluten. Asking about GF options feels embarrassing and a lack of options simply depressing. While our waitress was very happy to ask the kitchen what I could eat and eager to help the fact that nothing was marked on the menu and that there was really nothing to choose from would be the reason I would not eat here again. My dinner (lamb) while nicely cooked was very lack lustre and needed a sauce. In saying that. The dessert (not an option on the menu- I had to ask the kitchen again what I could eat) and coffee a the end would have me coming back simply for a late evening sweet treat. High praise for the Pino Grigio served. Superb

Excellent service throughout, with a good menu, and plenty of time left between courses. Comfortable chairs and not too noisey. Excellent value and will come again.

A great experience We had the progressive dinner, French then Italian! The food was amazing, the wine equally as good and well matched to the meal The service, outstanding, thank you Paul and others! Will definitely try again
