My boyfriend and I chose this restaurant based on impressive Yelp reviews, and we are SO happy we did! Our server made fantastic suggestions and answered all our questions about the menu. In my limited experience with this cuisine, the food seems very authentic and it was so delicious that I plan to come back with friends and family very soon. Thank you, Jalwa, for a memorable experience.

The food was nicely plated and delicious, and the ambiance was pleasant. I would be remiss, however, if I didn't also state that with such an extensive menu, I felt my friend and I were a bit rushed after being seated to select appetizers and entrees. Other than that, I plan to dine there again and bring friends - and review the menu in advance.

Jalwa is our go-to place for superior Indian cuisine. Yes, there are other places where one can get standard Indian fare in the area, but Jalwa is definitely a step above in terms of food, service and ambiance. Their appetizer choices are creative and exciting, all their curries are top-notch, and even their desserts (Moong Dal Halwa is superb!) are amazing. One criticism: no coffee or tea for dessert.
