The endive salad with orange and goat cheese was incredible. The garlic shrimp also stood out. The lunch deal is the way to go! Great value and we shared bites of all the dishes. Comfortable and inviting restaurant!

We were seated next to a group of women playing fusball, drinking a lot, boisterous cheering, and making conversation at surrounding tables difficult. And, I am now thinking pricing is too high!

The $85 tasting menu was very disappointing. Two-thirds of the dishes were salads and inexpensive fried foods. I expected better from a José Andrés restaurant, but I was greatly let down. Additionally, I felt unwell after eating the food.

We were outside, so the noise level of the inside was down. Service and food were great! This is one of our favorite restaurants!

Jaleo never disappoints. The food is delicious, and the service is excellent. It can be noisy, but I appreciate the lively atmosphere. It is a great place to go before a show because the food comes out quickly, but you never feel rushed.

Food was mediocre. Paella was definitely not worth the price, we had the shrimp/seafood one. Steak was the only thing that was edible, although lacked flavor.

We always enjoy Jaleo and it’s a convenient location for pre-theatre dining. However we encountered a discouraging policy with their service on this occasion. The manager insists on a “no seating until the full party is present” policy. This is certainly reasonable when an incomplete group occupies a large table. In our case, we were required to wait in a crowded area while empty tables were clearly visible (we were a party of 3 waiting for our 3rd). We would have happily ordered extra drinks if we could be seated as requested. Luckily she arrived 5 mins late. But the experience gives us pause when considering Jaleo for future events.
