The wings were Fried and chewy. Celery was bad. Service was bad. Overall not great.

Had reservations and still waited 15 mins to be seated. Once seated, ordered drinks immediately. Waited 30 mins before they were at the table. Once there, 3 drinks were wrong. Waited another 30 mins for our food after ordering. Once the food arrived it was wrong on multiple orders and one order never even came to the table. Had a bad experience with service the first time we dined here but decided to give it another try. Horrible experience again. Would not recommend.

Jake’s restaurant holds a great Representation for good food, and service. A warm greeting upon our arrival, and we’re seated Immediately. Our-waiter, Andrew greeted us at our table, he kept us informed about our order, and made sure we had everything we needed during dinner. Now to the chiefs, The Barbecue ribs, the chicken wings barbecue & plan, and the brisket was delicious just to name a few. I enjoyed the house salad, and the drinks were delicious as well. I would definitely recommend Jake’s to anyone coming to Chicago for a short visit, for dinner. 💕I found Jake’s on internet, lucky me. The prices were great, but the food was absolutely delicious. The cleanest of the restaurant was great, and table were cleaned immediately after guest left. Thanks to our waiter Andrew who made us feel welcome our entire stay. Remember an extra tip for good service is always recommend. Thanks again for your outstanding service, ANDREW, and your kindness on October 10, 2004. The Mabry, Johnsons, and Washington family.

Food came out super fast. So Yanno it’s pre-prepped. Didn’t realize that. Ribs weren’t hit for coming out so fast. Which normally is a good thing. In this case, it’s probably just warmed up, pre-cooked food. Burger was decent. Fries was the best thing. Wings were okay. Lemon garlic but had some kind of red sauce on top which threw off the desired flavor as it was spicy.
