The menu, spearheaded by Executive Chef Giovanni Vella and Chef Matthew Bell of celebrated eatery BEVO Bar + Pizzeria, showcases the unique culinary flare of Italy with dishes focused on fresh, seasonal ingredients, and specialty cured meats. Unlike its sister concept, BEVO – known for its authentic wood-burning pizza oven, Jacopo offers guests homemade pasta, fresh vegetables, roasted meats in a stone oven, roman lamb, and much more.. Diners can also enjoy freshly baked in-house focaccia bread and homemade charcuterie and salumi, cured on display in a controlled drying chamber. It doesn’t get more authentic than this!

We had a great experience at Jacopo for dinner! The food was outstanding. We got Tomato bruschetta and takati tuna for apps. Both wonderful... best bruschetta we've had. The bread was easy to eat and perfectly toasted and the topping was so flavorful. The tuna had a wonderful mix of flavors and toppings/sauce. I got the fish of the day dish which was Trout filet with a salsa type topping and served with large pieces of perfectly grilled zucchini, bell peppers, and eggplant, along with farro - all of it was so delicious and perfectly prepared. My husband got the Oriechette pasta dish with sausage. It was also very good. The description said the sauce was an olive oil based sauce, which he wanted, but it was actually a bit of a creamy tomato sauce with a kick. He liked it. Our server was very good, and the food came out quickly, but we were not rushed at all. The wine was wonderful and reasonably priced. We highly recommend this restaurant!

Very disappointed. The cheese wheel pasta was the only dish that was exceptional. Service was slow and it was too noisy for conversation. I would not go back and I wonder how it got the reviews I read.

Nous avions réservé une table pour 3 personnes. L’accueil fut souriant et la table était disponible. Nourriture et services excellents. Le serveur ayant le numéro 2904 fut d’une courtoisie exemplaire. Seul bémol: le bruit ambiant est assourdissant. Fort difficile de converser avec les personnes attablées à la même table sans hausser beaucoup la voix. Par moment, c’était carrément exaspérant et indisposant. Beaucoup trop de décibels. Dommage!

I came back here because I had dinner here and loved it. Im coeliac/ GF and they made almost all of their sauce (pasta) GF! What I had eaten was delicious. I came back later over lunch and the menu was understandably more limited. I took the GF carbonara and it wasn’t good at all. Overly peppery, no yoke, no creamy, and served over fusilli?!?!? Disappointing.

We made reservations for a special birthday, asked to be moved to the outside as it was too noisy inside. The host was not pleased or was just in a grumpy mood, gave us a table next to the kitchen door where there was high traffic to and from the kitchen., even though there was a great spot at the south corner of the terrace, it was not offered to us. The chair I sat at against the wall was dangerously on the edge of the floor, almost fell over. Waiter and food was great but we won't be back.

The experience wasn't pleasant, from the wait staff to the food itself. We considered trying this place out due to the number of reviews. Unfortunately, the service was underwhelming. We only liked the risotto entree.

Reliable and predictable Italian food in a very tourist heavy area of Vieux Montreal. On a walking street so no traffic noise.. Both indoor and outdoor seating. We shared a tomato salad with flavorful tomatoes in Sept. I enjoyed pasta with pesto and burrata and my companion had braised chicken. Both nicely prepared and well seasoned.
