We had an excellent brunch experience at Jackson’s Bistro Bar and Sushi! The sushi, surprisingly perfect for brunch, was our absolute favorite—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The brunch menu had something for everyone, and the atmosphere was lively yet relaxed. The waterfront view made it even more special, offering a stunning backdrop as we enjoyed our meal. Whether you’re there for brunch or any other time of day, Jackson’s is a must-visit spot in Tampa. Highly recommended for both the food and the breathtaking views!

Service was great. Food was pretty good, I wouldn’t say outstanding though. Really nice spot overlooking the water. Will definitely come back in the future.

Excellent! They have up’d their game! 🙌🙌 Service, ambience, food quality…. Was fantastic!!! High fives!!! Price for down town Tampa restaurant was very affordable and not breaking the budget like other restaurants!!! I will be back!!! Service was outstanding!

Hot mess. Party of ten on a Tuesday night. Work function. 10 minutes for waters to arrive after being sat and 30 minutes for a round of green tea shots. Another 30 minutes for our first round of drinks. A few apologies from our server but no comps, no manager table touch, no clue. Food was super average. Wanted to buy table next to ours dinner (add to tab) and asked to have it added to our bill and three different people came over to confirm this and no one relayed the message to go along with the surprise. Upon leaving after paying the bill we ask to ensure auto grat we put on the bill and it took 10 minutes for someone to confirm. Other servers couldn’t figure it out. Manager was useless. Communication is so bad there. Some restaurants earn their rating. This is one of them. We’ll take our $1,200 somewhere else next year.

Anthony, Thank you for taking the time to be so detailed. I have personally spoke with the Team about this, and you are exactly write that we earn the scores we receive. However, we didn't even earn one star with this. If you look at our overall scores and reviews on OpenTable and Google you will see that, while we are far from perfect, that service like this does not happen often. I will send you another message privately following the guidelines of OpenTable for us to discuss this more.

Food was good. Definitely getting a bit too pricey, though, especially for a sushi roll appetizer, a beer, and a salad for two people- over $80 with tip. Service was just ok.

Attentive service, great recommendations and our server, Isabell, was outstanding!! Delicious calamari, and the sushi was fresh and plentiful. Great birthday celebration for our 18 year old!!

The grouper is delicious. The restaurant is situated on the river and has lovely views. Service is good with very friendly servers. We come here a couple times a year driving over from Pinellas

Zach was an excellent server—very pleasant and attentive. The food was good—caution on the maple bacon cinnamon rolls—dry, burnt and not impressive. Jackson’s handled our feedback well and made all things right.

Jackson's have very nice ambiance, and friendly service staff. I enjoyed my time and was happy they were able to accommodate me when arriving 20 minutes early for my reservation. The food was good for the price. The only reason I didn't rate them 5 stars overall is because we were celebrating our 11th wedding anniversary as noted on the reservation and it just didn't feel acknowledged during our dining experience.
