We had a waiter who was just not on his game. Our drinks took over 30 mins to get; we ordered sushi for an appetizer and had gotten that, eaten it and another 10 mins had gone by before he even came back. We had to ask him again for our order of 4 drinks. He brought one drink, we reminded him again that ALL of us didn’t get our drink and he proceeded to bring them out one at a time, with us needing to remind him that we again ALL ordered drinks. When one of them came out (Diet Pepsi) it was half filled, like it had been drank from. We ordered grouper, a pasta and two ribeyes. About 10 mins after we ordered our mains (which is now an hour into our dining service) he comes back and says they don’t have grouper. I ordered salmon instead, medium well. When the food finally came out, my salmon was raw (but had a well done stick in it). So I asked the lady that brought the food out if they could cook it a bit longer and that I had ordered med well. She agreed it was raw. Well when it came back it was so well done it was gross. I get if I sent it back because of a minor mistake they may “teach me a lesson “ but it was so undercooked to then fry it tasteless was ridiculous. Because our dining experience took so long I just at what I could and we left. We will never return. The ribeyes were bland and chewy - there was absolutely no seasoning on it. The service was so bad it was comical. The atmosphere is so good, right on the water. It’s a shame it was such a bad experience.

1 have always enjoyed eating here at Jackson's, but this time was different. The service was inattentive and our server was hard to find at times when we needed her. I was was disappointed with the service that day. I never received thr appetizer I ordered and may Steak was way under cooked.

We made the most of it, but the food came out overcooked, the wait staff was clearly over worked, the atmosphere noisy with drunk people walking though the outdoor area to get to American social nextdoor - too many options to go back here again.

We're really sorry to hear about your experience. We take your feedback seriously and it's disappointing to know that we fell short in providing you with the quality experience you'd expect from us. We're sorry for the noise and the wait staff's workload, but we're glad that you found the food to your liking. In reference to the people walking to American Social, we certainly apologize. There is traffic on our patio on weekends, but normally does not intrude on our guests experience. Sometimes the day after a storm will drive people to over indulge is all I can assume. We are averaging 4.5 stars over the past 120 days. Please do not let one experience deprive you of Great Food & Great Views!

Everything was delicious and the service was phenomenal! I can't remember the server's name, but we sat outside and it was a male.

Server was fantastic his name was Isaias and he never missed a beat. Great food recommendation and food came out in a timely manner. Only thing that could have been better was more options on the menu.

We had an excellent brunch experience at Jackson’s Bistro Bar and Sushi! The sushi, surprisingly perfect for brunch, was our absolute favorite—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Service was great. Food was pretty good, I wouldn’t say outstanding though. Really nice spot overlooking the water. Will definitely come back in the future.

Excellent! They have up’d their game! 🙌🙌 Service, ambience, food quality…. Was fantastic!!! High fives!!! Price for down town Tampa restaurant was very affordable and not breaking the budget like other restaurants!!! I will be back!!! Service was outstanding!
